LL Cool J Steroid Cycle

LL Cool J, Real name: James Todd Smith, is a famous rapper from the late 80s and 90s. He's probably best known for his “Mama said knock you out” song and “Doin' It.” LL Cool J is pretty much the most famous bad boy romantic rapper of his generation. Come on, who doesn't remember that song bumping in the background at car parks full of teens: “Doin' it and doin' it and doin' it wow...” Back then, if you wanted to be cool and hook up with a girl, you'd do the LL Cool J walk and head tilt like you're a 'gangsta' rapper and walk up to her. In reality, you probably looked like a douchebag to her, but hey I didn't know any better either when I was 15.

We can see how LL Cool J really changed the way a whole generation of kids and wanna-be rappers thought. It wasn't necessary anymore to be a hot-head street hood rapper to get into the mix, you could be a soft hip-hop guy with a rap angle. His style opened the door to some of the better known rappers of today like Drake.

With all the praise we give LL Cool J, we can't deny that he's had an amazing physical transformation over the years. His body went from a soft cool guy to a hard buff guy in a matter of a few years. Take a look, this video is “Doin' It” by LL Cool J, which was released in 1996:

Now, if you check the 1996 video, he looks like a normal guy with an average body. Let's fast forward, the song is: Luv U Better – released in 2002 (6 years after doin' it):

Basically, in less than 6 years, LL Cool J went from an average body guy to a guy that looks like he can win 1st in bodybuilding contests. He's lean, hard and strong, so is it a wonder that he's being accused of using steroids? I'm not surprised! When you make these type of muscle gains and change your body so much, you'll always be accused of using steroids. Here is a rough comparison of his pictures (1996 before – after 2000s):

LL Cool J Before and After

Was LL Cool J using steroids? No one really knows. It's not clear because rappers aren't tested for steroids. Hey, if they were tested, I bet most rappers would test positive for all sorts of drugs, with steroids coming in last. However, LL Cool J is someone that many guys want to look like, so what does his steroid cycle look like? Well, since there is no obvious steroid use in the 90s, he probably started using steroids in 2000s. Let's explore the potential LL Cool J Steroid Cycle:

Anavar – oxandrolone is used during cutting cycles to stay lean and really harden you out, helping your abs come out faster.
