7,8 Benzoflavone

7,8 Benzoflavone is a synthetic flavone derivative, which is a potent aromatase inhibitor. It is known as alpha-naphthoflavone, and it shouldn't be confused with 5,6 benzo, known as, beta-naphthoflavone, which is an inducer of detoxification enzymes and is not an aromatase inhibitor at all.

How it works

Aromatization is what occurs when testosterone converts to estrogen in the body. This is a big problem when athletes run many types of anabolic steroids, but also, it's a problem with many over the counter supplements that boost testosterone. 7,8-Benzoflavone is an aromatase inhibitor, so it will help prevent aromatization, keeping your estrogen levels in check.

Use by Bodybuilders and Athletes

Anabolic steroids such, as dianabol, equipoise, deca durabolin, and testosterone, will convert into estrogen as they all aromatize. When a steroid user fails to control estrogen, a host of side effects will occur such as gynecomastia (bitch tits), water retention, insomnia, and organ strain. In addition, during post cycle therapy (PCT), many bodybuilders will experience a spike in estrogen, which will delay recovery of their natural testosterone levels. During this time, the athlete will lose motivation, muscle, and gain more fat.

It is very important that estrogen is kept in check during and after cycle; hence, you must use an aromatase inhibitor (AI). Benzoflavone will keep the estrogen from rising, and it is a mandatory addition to a supplement stack that boosts testosterone.

Side effects

There is zero evidence that 7,8 Benzoflavone is directly linked to any side effects. It is safe to take even in high doses. Although like any supplement, it should never be overdosed or ran too long.

Other Benefits and Studies

Since it is a natural AI, there is evidence it can help balance hormone levels and boost testosterone, without causing a spike in estrogen. This is very beneficial during a post cycle therapy, where you are coming off a steroid cycle with high estrogen, and now you need estrogen levels balanced out to help boost testosterone.

Another benefit of benzoflavone is lowering of cortisol levels, this can prevent muscle wasting. In addition, benzo can enhance sleep.

Doses

Dosages depend on how you are using benzoflavone. If you are running a strong aromatizing steroid cycle, then the dose should exceed 40mg a day. However, if you are running it as part of a supplemental stack, then you need not go higher than that. Average dose of 20-40mgs is plenty.

Where to find it

You can buy 7,8-Benzoflavone as a stand alone from many vitamin shops; however, as a stand alone, you are not getting much out of it. It works best stacked in a supplemental stack, where you are getting testosterone increasing benefits, and need something natural to keep estrogen levels in check.

On the flip side, many supplements contain testosterone boosting ingredients, but do not contain any ingredients to fight off estrogen. This is why some athletes complain about increase estrogen, even with OTC supplements.

DSpark is a supplement that will boost testosterone levels naturally, and 36mg of benzoflavone is included as part of the formula. As a result, you are covered from top to bottom, and don't need to worry about estrogen increasing. In DSpark, there are 7 ingredients which help boost testosterone levels, while the benzo will help control estrogen to balance out your hormones.

Conclusion

7,8-Benzoflavone is a proven aromatase inhibitor, which works well stacked as part of a steroid cycle or as part of a supplemental stack where testosterone is increasing. It will balance out estrogen spikes and help you avoid any estrogen related side effects.
