Mobster says you might get lucky randomly on social media finding a person who knows what they are talking about. The problem is the chances are 2-3% of that happening because 90%+ are just braindead gym bros who are the blind leading the blind. Mobster says the things he sees on social media make him think these people are drunk or high. An example of this he gives is how the whole IIFYM (if it fits your macros) got started, it was started on social media and was pushed for years by people who youngsters looked up to and were misled.
Mobster says that social media is a mix of people from different backgrounds who know nothing about specific subjects. It would be no different than going into the street and asking random people how to diet, train, or use steroids. He says many of these guys have been busted for copying/pasting the same training program or diet. The same goes for cycling steroids, where they will set up the same exact cycle they copied online.
Steve says the problem is on social media what makes you respected is the number of people you have following you. Little do people know that most of those followers were bought, or were acquired from them being controversial, or picking fights with people for drama. They also put up fake pictures and will get random people asking to friend you. This problem is prevalent on Instagram and Facebook especially, where they are picture-based platforms.
He says the proof of this is if you notice a lot of these clowns will talk about other subjects to stir drama and the reason they do this is because they don't know themselves, so they have to fill up space talking about other things. A lot of these guys have turned into comedians, pranksters, trolls, etc.

Scammers on social media and how to watch out for them
Mobster says the social media bodybuilding community is full of scammers. What they will do is take a picture of a celebrity or bodybuilder and use AI to fool people into thinking they are the actual person. They will use that grift to scam you out of your money.
One of the scams they will do is rent out a home for the day, rent a Lamborghini for 4 hours, and hire some female models for a half day. Using these 3 things you can make anyone look like they are rich, successful, alpha, or whatever else to trick the 18-30-year-old demographic into trusting them.
Steve says not only are they trying to take your money by selling you bad supplements, programs, etc. They will also put you into a depressive state because you will think that you are not achieving enough in life. After all, you don't have that car, house, woman, etc.
Another problem is social media is addictive and it is a waste of time. You will spend hours there a week or even a day, and you won't gain any knowledge.
Social media is just a bad place to be.
Advantages to Evolutionary.org vs. social

The 50 people who agree with you will not say a thing, because being friendly and nice is not what social media is all about. It's about trolling and making you feel bad about yourself because the people on social media are miserable themselves.
