Overtraining advice and thoughts
Mobster says for the average person who hits the gym he suggests that training your big lifts twice a week might be fool hearty. He has tried 5-6x a week and didn't see the type of improvements he did with 4x-a-week training. One of the mistakes people make is training biceps every day for example, and this is wrong in his view because when do your arms have a chance to recover? He brings up Derek Lunsford ahead of Mr. Olympia, and has watched his training, and he doesn't even train his biggest muscle groups twice a week. He trains them hard once a week and he is on tons of anabolic steroids. If you train a muscle group specifically hard where you are annihilating it then you should not train it again for 7 days. There is also an impact on your CNS and ability to recover and the soreness that makes.
Steve says he will take this from another angle. What about micro-tears in your soft tissues? Those small injuries getting pounded over and over with no break will end up with major inflammation and tendonitis. Things like tennis elbow, forearm splints, and wrist problems will happen if you over-train your arms for example. Muscles are very durable but soft tissues are not and if you injure them they may cause permanent damage. This is why even the top professional athletes are forced into retirement from ligament damage, tendon damage, and loss of cartilage. In many ways, this is worse than anything because you won't be able to train for a long time after an expensive surgery or rehab.
Mobster says you must adjust your training as you age. When you are young, you can push through a lot of injuries, but when you start getting into your 30s and 40s, especially, that becomes a problem.
On the flip side, you don't want to get too far in one direction on this topic. Mobster and Steve agree that training once a week is ideal, BUT you must train the crap out of that muscle group to exhaustion. You also should alternate how you attack those muscle groups mixing in cables in one workout while sticking to machines in another, or doing free weights in another where you are mixing it up.

Training smaller muscles vs. larger muscles
Certain muscle groups should be approached differently. You can train things like abs or calves daily, although it's not necessary to train them heavily. For example, many people wake up and do 50-100 situps every day to build rock-hard abs or do pilates or other core training. Also training your heart, which he reminds people IS a muscle, is a smart thing. But you don't want to pound your body into the dirt running on hard surfaces, he recommends running barefoot on grass so you don't end up with leg problems.
One of the dumbest things he has seen on social media is the idea of squatting every day. This might seem like a good idea, but he guarantees once you get older your hips and knees will be destroyed.
Mobster likes to mix things up between heavy and light but keep in mind everyone is going to be a little different. It is important to try different strategies because some of you will react better to some things and others will not.

Another good cycle would be Equipoise and Steve likes this one at 300-500mgs a week along with some Testosterone. If you do run Test higher, then using Para Pharma Aromasin and Adex are important as AI's to keep estrogen under control.

Trenbolone is a great option if you have experience and Para Pharma has many options, Steve likes it at 200-300mgs a week and 8 weeks or less.
