    AAS & red blood cells

Ok guys, I know that AAS increase red blood cell count, but I have been off AAS for 3 1/2 weeks and I just got my lab work back and it show I still have high red blood cell count as well as high cholesterol.....Both are up from my initial lab work prior to taking AAS's.

I was on for 12 weeks 500 mg Test E, 50 mg Dbol and 300mg Deca. Any ideas on how long it will remain elevated and is there anything I can do?

    Thanks and be safe

A little while yet. It doesn't instantly change as soon as you stop.

You need to donate blood regularly if you run AAS. It can take months for the RBC to go back to normal on its own

You need to go donate blood bro. This is a necessity for those that cycle.

if your last injection was just 3.5 weeks ago there are still plenty of steroids left in your system. also as PON said it doesn't just go back to normal overnight. your body has to balance out

it just goes to show you how much damage people do to their bodies who stay on steroids for long periods of times. let's not beat around the bush. even a 12 week cycle (considered minor to many these days) will turn your blood into motor oil. that is why we cycle off. and part of cycling off isn't just for HPTA benefits it is also for our health!

I actually had a heart attack from that (mitral valve problem)...it's very important to DONATE BLOOD on cycles. Testosterone raises RBC...if you don't take care of this, you run the risk of having a stroke/heart attack.

Once your count gets high, you'll have to start giving blood every 2 weeks or so.

Stay safe. Give blood every 6-8 weeks as a preventative measure!
