Unfortunately I must have missed the part that says armidex is terrible for cholesterol:
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/22093630/

In fact when you compare armidex with letro you say that letro is worse because or erectile dysfunction. I would disagree. Cholesterol is much worse. I was on armidex and couldn't figure out why my cholesterol was so bad. My insurance company jumped my premium. Finally i realized that it was the armidex. Would definitely appreciate if the article had mentioned this at all, even if just in the side effects portion.

^^^ if you ran steroids that would cause your cholesterol problems.. if adex is run properly it will have little impact on cholesterol levels. that study you posted was with women who ran it for atleast 1 year to 5 years. as said in the video as a bodybuilder you would never run it that long so its not even an issue

the danger of NOT running an AI is risky. remember all that water bloat will cause heart strain, high blood pressure and the domino effect that comes with it. and then getting gyno which may require surgery and putting you out of the gym for a long time [email protected]!

I'd love to say you're welcome, but Steve wrote that article; though, I did edit it and change things up a bit as the chief editor on the site.

You bring up a very valid point, and lipids have been a contentious part of any aromatase inhibitor treatment. You'll find that hypercholesterolemia is the case with most AIs, but many times this can't be compared directly to studies. Why? Simply because none of us are postmenopausal women or women with cancer. We are steroid users; in other words, we use drugs that already cause problems with natural lipid levels.

That being said, there is debate on both sides of the issue here. For example, we can look at this study:
At a mean follow-up of 25.8 months, there was more hypercholesterolemia in the letrozole arm (43.6, vs 19.2% in the tamoxifen arm)

In conclusion, blood lipids seem to be slightly and equally increased during therapy with all third-generation AIs (anastrozole, letrozole, and exemestane) when compared directly with tamoxifen, because of the lipid-lowering effects of tamoxifen and not because of a lipid-increasing effect of AIs.
You'll also find the scientific world is full of contradictions, for every study backing something, there is always one contradicting it. Anastrozole is no exception: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3418141/

In this study of postmenopausal women with early breast cancer receiving adjuvant anastrozole with or without risedronate, there was no adverse effect on LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, TC or TG values over the 12 month monitoring period.
Of course, I'm not saying there is no issues with lipids when taking AIs, but sometimes we have to take stock of the actual situation we are in before blaming one ingredient or product on something. Steroids do a number on your lipids, more than any AI should.

Here's an article about this that I wrote: http://www.evolutionary.org/clenbuterol#dangers
    *2nd paragraph (about steroid use)

Great information on Adex.. I prefer aromasin because of the added benefits, but also liked Adex when I took it
