    Thanks! Good to know!

With that vehicle, you won't notice any difference in sound or performance from 87 octane or 102 octane. Your extra money for higher grade gas just lets us breathe a little better after say, 1000 years? Or says EPA anyhow.

okay my results are as follows:

my car logs my MPG.... there is no difference between me using 87 and 93.. been driving BMW's for many years.. the gas mileage thing is 100% not an issue.. before I was getting 29MPG and after I am getting 29MPG.. no change at all

as far as performance, when I put the car in sport mode I do notice a slight difference in acceleration/pick up when I use 87 vs. 93 but I am rarely in that mode anyway so I'm not even sure if this is something consistent or not.. I keep the car in eco mode where there is zero difference... I'm either on highway going 85 or I am in stop and go traffic so I don't notice acceleration anyway

I think I am going to use the middle grade though from now on and split the difference.. not like gas prices are high anyway
