First post... I know, really cutting to the chase here. Title of thread says it all: first contest, looking to do a LIGHT cycle as part of the prep. Rules: 1) light means light... I have no interest in doing a gram plus of gear, 2) no interest in heavy-duty compounds, and 3) no interest in orals outside of maybe Anavar.
I have been living the natural bodybuilding lifestyle for 2.5 years--this doesn't mean I am natural per-se, but that I have a natural coach helping me with diet primarily, posing, programing, etc. (I started with him prior to TRT--which I went on 1.5 years back due to natural causes non-steroid related, and I like him a lot and we work well together so sticking with him for now as I believe the most important part of any bodybuilding journey is diet and programing). Coach is aware of TRT and we have a "don't ask don't tell" policy for anything else. I have done various combos of compounds: NPP and Primo, and test E/C. I have never in TOTAL gone beyond 300mg / week of gear... ever. I know the common consensus, but this works great for me and I respond very, very well to it.
Contest is in October, so just getting my head around things at this point.
Stats (roughly speaking): 5'8" 181-183, about 7% - 8% BF according to Navy BF calculation. Attached two pics for reference.
Advise I am seeking: a LIGHT cycle recommendation using as little gear as possible to provide a muscle-retention boost & dryness / definition boost... I will not complain about any added clean muscle, but not the goal. Again, diet and training are the fundamental I want primarily dialed right now... I plan on doing more comps in the future, so plenty of time to fine-tune and grow into larger cycles. Less is more, in my mind.
So have at it... what would you recommend? Simple, light, and effective is the mantra.
