I love country as my main genre, then I branch out into rock, classical, techno/electric, rap(very little), Christian gospel/praise and worship, celtic music, jazz, etc,etc...a little of it all.

With the exception of screamer music..that, I like nuffin.

I personally enjoy torturing people at work with country and classical. :D

Big fan of all music, too.......Depends on the time of day and what I'm doing:

5am @ the gym; hard, fast, & heavy...guitar & drums.....

Out to dinner with your girl; a little jazz or Sinatra

And a little of almost anything else as fit; country, reggae, r&b, 80's hair bands....etc

rap...didn't know other music existed

tupac being my all time favorite with nas in second....any emotion you need is within both of their music...anything your feeling, they have a song for that feeling

rap , that´s one style I know nothing about . however when I watched some clips of ronnie coleman , there was some very heavy beat music in the backround- thought it was rap . could rap sound like heavy music ? I mean that beat was HEAVY.

For me nothing pumps out the reps like some dirty ass dubstep tracks

Funny thing is I was going to ask if anyone here like music from the 80s seeing that I am old I do. I just wanted to know what to most popular years are 70s(really old) 80s, 90s or 2000s.

 young gotti you need to get out more. There is more to music then RAP. Rap steals samples from alot of other music. Yes I do listen to it, I listen to most depends on the day and or mood.

^this band I found only after dimebag darryl got killed .... listened their album "cowboys from hell" for a year straight as my training music :punk:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkAMtXTEjco]YouTube - Pantera Live @ Ozzfest- "Cowboys from Hell"[/ame]

that is one of teh hardest stage acts I´ve seen .......... rip dimebag

my all fave is srv . his way of playing is still the outmost for me . too bad his time was over so soon . v e r y good man .

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPDJicA816s&feature=related]YouTube - Stevie Ray Vaughan - Superstition[/ame]

stewie wonder appearing at the end , why ? it´s his song ...... srv had great appreciation on other great musicians .

van halen def has a place in my fave bands . especially the old recordings were pure gold . btw that guitar you see eddie playing w is now in the coffin of dimebag darrel .... dimebag had ordered a copy of that guitar model and when he died eddie donated his original guitar and dimebag was buried w the guitar he wanted so bad . enjoy

nah i was only joking, but i've given other music a chance and can't really get into it...my father plays the guitar and we have tons of vinyl at his house but even growing up it wasn't for me

i've seen live music from ppl like phish, disco biscuits, rat dog, keller williams, string cheese incident, blink 182, papa roach, new found glory, and dave mathews....none of them did anything...also watched a band called bad luck 13 riot extraveganza or something, it was a good time but i can't drive my car and listen to it or listen to it at the gym

YouTube - Stevie Ray Vaughan - Superstition

I gotta throw you some props for repping Stevie Ray Vaughn's version of Superstition. There is a live version of Stevie doing this, and oh my Lord it's one of the greatest displays of control over a guitar I've ever seen. Here's some of my favorites that I rock in the gym.

The Dead Weather- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7QSkI6My1g[/ame]

TOOL- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tja6_h4lT6A[/ame]
TOOL is GENIUS. The lyrics are some of the most incredibly intelligent in all of musical history. Just research Lateralus. Written entirely in the math sequence called the Fibonacci sequence.

WOLFMOTHER- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDhx2eJVr4M[/ame]
Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath had a baby and it's called Wolfmother.

In This Moment- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eecFm2iRo7Q[/ame]

The Virgin Mary's- [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7clibOhA_4]YouTube - The Virginmarys - Bang Bang Bang (itunes single of the week : August 10, 2010)[/ame]

These are just a few of my favorites.

Some good music i here!
Young g, Was just playing. We all listen to what we listen too, it your preference to listen to rap. Who is anyone to tell you different.
Never heard of Wolfmother, their good, I liked it.

I have seen them live twice, and they are damn good! They have changed the band for their latest album, but they get a fuller sound now.

Here's some other good stuff

MuteMath- [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxsa5mqeSUg&feature=branded]YouTube - Interview/Burden (Live from The Armistice Tour Japan)[/ame]
Mute Math is the greatest live band out there today. Hands down. Their drummer in my opinion is the greatest drummer since Neil Peart, and Danny Carrey. He's insane. Seen them live 3 times and it's almost been religious. Skip the interview.

Red Hot Chili Peppers- [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB-WHw6uMWg&feature=related]YouTube - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Throw Away Your Television - Live at Slane Castle[/ame]

John Frusciante is my musical Idol, and in this video he shreds like no ones damn business. If you haven't seen the peppers live, well, it's probably too late now cause they broke up, but they aren't like the CD's they are quite a bit harder live.

Attack! Attack!- [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6kBlC-6_LM]YouTube - Attack Attack - Stick Stickly (HD / UNOFFICIAL / DE MEDIA VERSION)[/ame]
It's an attack on your reasoning skills. Hardcore metal plus Techno dance? Yet it works sooo damn well... huh...

PINK FLOYD - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWnapx502uQ]YouTube - Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb Pulse 1994 (Live)[/ame]
This is Pulse. It's the Greatest Live performance of any band EVER. Second favorite band of All time, and the fact they put David Gilmore at 88 on the greatest guitarists of all time is an atrocity.
