Do you burn more calories on cycle?

I was curious seem like people are cutting and gaining muscle on a cycle, is this because their dieting or there not keeping up with the calories. I would think if you stay out of a calorie deficit you would get better results. So do you burn more calories on a cycle

The only reason you burn calories on cycle is because you are training like you mean it. You are dieting and you are following your training regiment to reach your goals. Steroids do nothing to help burn calories.

You are generally training harder on cycle (or why bother cycling), so it makes sense more calories would be burned.

If intake and activity stayed the same on cycle all things being equal you'd burn the same. You wouldn't grow much either.

If you're training harder it's definitely possible.
