Elevated ast/alt

Nad015

Novice Brother
I have struggled with elevated liver values since I saw they were high in a blood test a year ago, they have previously been around the 100-150 mark.
The last cycle I done was a yk11, gw, s4 cycle. I done a full pct as per Dylan’s recommendations. I also took 7 caps of n2gaurd on the cycle and through pct and then have been taking 3 caps a day since.
This blood test was done 8 weeks after the pct.
Any thoughts to lowering the values? I was hoping to start my first test cycle, I have everything on hand. For the cycle and pct. obviously I shouldn’t be doing a test cycle with these number I guess?
I will go see a doctor aswell. Just wanted to hear anyone’s thoughts.
Cheers

I’d buy some TUDCA, NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), Milk thistle, and Liv52.

Take 500mg TUDCA in the AM and PM
1000mg NAC in the AM and PM
Two Liv52 in the AM and PM
And Milk thistle, AM/PM

Do this for about 4 weeks, then get labs done again. Your values aren’t crazy, but concerning. Also did you make sure you fasted before getting labs?

Ok, I’ll try those supps.
Yes I fasted before taking the bloods for 12 hours.
Yeah it’s a little concerning to me, because I have been taking n2 guard the whole time so I was expecting an improvement.

So just looking at the n2guard list
It has 250mg tudca
300mg nac
300 mg milk thistle
So I’ll just up those with extra nac, milk thistle and tudca and see how I go.

this plus glutatione.

Did you take blood after training or did you wait two weeks?

this is important as there are muscle waste toxins in the blood.
you don't have to train for at least two weeks to take these exams

I did not train the day the bloods were drawn. But did train the day before that.
I’ve never heard of not training for 2 weeks before getting bloods, surely everyone doesn’t stop training for 2 weeks before getting bloods?

another thing to consider is the amount of protein you eat.
Did you do the fasting exam?
how is your diet?

now you heard it ;)

and that's not my opinion, it's just science and knowledge of what transaminases are and how the human body works.

Obviously drug or alcohol abuse can cause elevated liver enzymes but you said you don't drink. Your cholesterol doesn't look bad and you say your diet is in check.

I would definitely see a doctor to make sure there isn't an underlying issue. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can be genetic.

As far as halting training for 2 weeks before bloodwork, I won't dispute it because I've never researched it. But I don't know a single person who does this. You should always get mid cycle bloods and most guys aren't going to take 2 weeks off of training in the middle of a cycle.

I think it was around jan I had an ultrasound on my liver because my ast was around 130 and it came up that I had a slightly fatty liver.
The doc said there was nothing to be alarmed about but just keep an eye on it.

But you also say they were elevated a year ago - as in before the cycle too. Have you spoken to a doc?

1. not training for 2 weeks that is for kidney numbers. yes this can indirectly effect AST and ALT. people think those numbers are just liver but other organs can throw off that number too indirectly. but in this case it won't be enough to cause this number

2. it seems you had liver issues beforehand. that answers what i was going to ask you next. you ran this stack and they got worse which does happen. sarms when stacked do have an effect on the liver for the simple fact they are a foreign substance plus when we stack especially you are using 10-15X the therapeutic dosages.

3. you can liver a normal life with elevated liver values. however it will be detrimental to your bodies overall health. just imagine when you flush your toilet most of the shit flushes but you get like 5% that backs up into your bathroom everytime. that is what your body will have to deal with until you get that sorted.

4. go to a specialist on the liver. see if they can find the underlying cause of the liver issues. I hope they can figure it out!

5. most people on this forum have a lot of shit wrong with their bodies. 85% of Americans have metabolic disease and a sick body. that is why we have the most advanced medicine on earth but we live less longer than countries. the difference between you and everyone else is you actually ran bloodwork and they didn't. when i interviewed bostin lloyd on my podcast he even admitted he doesn't run bloodwork cause he does not want to know.

now what would I do in your shoes right now? I would do a 5-10 day water fast. then come off the fast with homemade bone broth and watery fruit then run bloods 2 days later and see how much my liver improved. if it is still elevated then you will know you have an underlying sickness where your body just is overwhelmed. if it goes back to normal then it will mean your body just needed a break from everything to cleanse itself out. when you aren't fasting run 10 caps of n2guard a day. and then back off to 5-7 caps

As stated, get that seen to. Having run many bloods and many orals I would say this needs to be examined further priority number 1.

+1 on everything said.

Figure out the Liver issue now. Dont add compounds that could be potentially dangerous to your liver without figuring out why the levels are elevated.

At the end of the day you get one body. Maybe oral PEDs are not for you? Injectable (test) may be better but id still figure out whats going on first.

Good luck man!

Strange that your levels are where they are with no real explanation

Something caused them to rise

I had elevated liver enzymes in 2017 due to fatty liver. I started mountain biking about 15 miles a day 5 to 7 days a week and within six months the fatty liver was gone and everything was back to normal. Also you do have to quit lifting heavy about five days before you run the for a lower result but everyone is different on my body if I lift heavy and run Labs like two or three days later the liver enzymes would only be like two or three points above average and if I stopped Lifting for 5 days they would come back totally in the normal range. Fatty liver can be cured pretty easily with cardio and sometimes just losing 10 lbs will reverse the fatty liver
