Injected close to to skin level

    Hi Guys,

Couple of weeks back I freaked out while injecting and didn't go enough in. Ended up injecting very close to skin that the oil almost went out. By the time I noticed and pushed it back in there was a bubble formed on the skin already.

Anyway this area feels a little bit rubbery now compared to the rest of the quad skin.

My mistake..Now how to fix this? or will it go away with time?

    Thanks

Not sure what you mean by rubbery but if it's just some sort of irritation and/or rash on the skin it'll probably go away in a next couple of days.
Just avoid the place for now and let it heal.

    Does it hurt or anything?

Its just a lump from doing S.C injection.
Can take anywhere from days to weeks before it goes away.

No it didnt hurt. I meant with Rubbery that the skin doesnt feel the same as the rest. Possibly from the remains of the lump. Im avoiding it i just wanted to make sure it will go away without any meds

    Thank you

Fix it - no. It's also known as sub-q. We've had big debates on this.

But how did you make it happen?

you fix it by leaving it alone and improving your injection techniques.

I didnt keep the needle steady so it slowly moved out until i noticed that the oil was coming out of the skin. Immediately the bubble formed. it was a 1inch syringe so I think only the tip was in

The oil is probably trapped under the skin since its subq.

Watch it closely hopefully it dissipates otherwise it can get infected but leave that spot alone and maybe use a warm compress and massage a little so the oil hopefully is absorbed.

Didn't fully go inside + Shaky hands. I used to faint when I see needles before this cycle. Things got better week after week
