Could be such a thing like this?

.. gyno is conversion of testo to estrogen, and Male pattern baldness is to DHT, so basic one mechanism is opposed and protective to each other.

So if your prone for one thing you shouldn't be to the other, or just doesn't work that way?
 
You will get both byproducts, estrogen and DHT, from testosterone regardless. One does not protect against the other.

You can have both or neither of them. Thetes no correlation between having one preventing the other
