45 minutes 4 times a week. Youre blaming overtraining for your lack of results. You aren't going to get huge in six weeks. It doesn't work like that. Its no different than having a job for two months and being pissed off that you aren't a millionaire yet.

Usually 2 to 3 hours (that includes cardio) per day, 6 days a week. Off cycle I sometimes only train 5 days a week.

He doesn't mention any of those things.

Is it possible to over train? Sure.

Roids allow you to workout longer, heavier, and recover faster too. Can you over train, yes. Muscles actually grow while youre resting. You need your rest too. You need a workout routine that works for you. For me splitting into two targeted muscles groups per day works best, but not everybody does it like that. For me 6 days on, 1 day off works. Key for me, is to always feel a little soreness all the time, I like it. I have heavy day first half of the week routine, and light day second half.

To your question. Yes you can over train, don't do chest everyday for example, or any other muscle. Muscles need rest, that's when they grow.

I have found that for me to hold any decent size, I need a higher volume of sets. But at the same time I recover slowly whether on or off anything. So I can basically only handle 3 workout days a week if I am pushing with any intensity.
I could go 5-6 days a week but would be just physically therapy level of intensity to do so.

I think it's really down to genetics. For one person it may be over training and another it may not be enough.
