Overtraining biceps

So this is just a guess from what I read on the interwebs but I think I may have developed tendonitis due to over training my biceps. i was hitting them eod and going high volume in attempt to bulk up cuz they were neglecting to grow for awhile and now it feels like the bone in my outter forearm in gunna snap it hurts so bad when I do biceps. What do u guys think tendonitis or maybe something else ?

Who knows what it is but if it hurts stop doing what you are doing. In my experience 15-18 sets spread out over the week is enough. More than that and I start hurting. Your mileage may vary.

how do we know? we are not doctors... thats what they are there for... clearly there's something wrong with it but asking a bunch of people on the internet isnt going to get you anywhere... go to the doctor and find out whats ACTUALLY wrong with it

you need to listen to your body and just stop for a while

over training is pointless, there is this false misconception that pounding away will produce 'more gains' ... it does not and you are a perfect example of why. you should train EFFICIENTLY, not 'hard'.. look at professional sports. they have offseasons. during the season they have breaks. hockey goalies will rest on back to back nights. pitchers in baseball get pulled in games for closers, even the best pitchers take games off between games.

Yeah man every other day high volume is just crazy. Way too much. You arent even giving them time to grow. You as te actually keeping yourself from growing doing that

Recovery is one of the most important training balances. Clearly you're overtraining and need to focus on recovery and toning the workload down!

I agree with the others that you are training them too frequently with too much volume and not allowing full recovery.

I've had tendonitis before and if that's what it is you'll need some time off for it to heal. It could be other things as well.

Check out these videos. I don't do his workouts but he knows his stuff and has some good advice for avoiding injuries.

Still may be worth a trip to the doc as well.

You for sure over trained it but the question is What did you damaged on it? Only a Dr is gonna be able to give you a full answer on it
