Problem with injections

Probably injected too close to a nerve. Leave that area alone for a few days and see if the weakness dissipates.

if you injected and got tissue irritation and it rubs up against a nerve then yes it will effect how you walk

only thing you can do is take an advil and take a hot bath .. i woudl also consider injecting other places

obviously stay away from that area now for a bit... give it a few days first and see how it progresses before you start to be too concerned... likely just a bad injection, which we've all done

Sounds like you hit a nerve.

Get a massage and have a hot epsom salt bath. It'll help relax the inflamed muscle.

One thing to keep in mind, is that if you really did hit a nerve...you'd know it immediately. The pain would be instant and unbearable. What often happens is that you inject "near" a nerve...then as the PIP and inflammation spreads to the adjacent areas...the nerve starts to get really inflamed causing major soreness and difficultly walking, etc. Just something to keep in mind. If you are injecting correctly, you really should be nowhere near any major nerves. I want to say that member Muskate has an e-book on proper injection technique.
