    Training on cycle

    There are always tons of posts on cycles, but I see the training aspect very rarely considered. I wonder, do most of you train harder on cycle, or less, or not change your routine at all?

    As much as your cycle determining gains and diet, your training methods will also do so.

    I would venture to guess that many way overtrain when cycling because of the feeling that recovery is so much more, that they should do more. When in essence, they may in fact negate alot of the advantages of their cycle by overtraining.

    What do you think, and what are your views on how to train/split on cycle for gaining?

    The only real difference for me when training on cycle vs off cycle is the volume. For example, i may stick to the same routine as such, but instead of doing 3 sets per exercise I'll do 4...

    I keep the same frequency but I am able to train with more volume and weight because I am not tired and sore as long

    i have found over the years that while on steroids i can lift heavier (no shit right?). however you also are going to create more problems with overuse injuries. so as you get older you must train SMART no matter on or off cycle. ego lifting is a problem for many of us on steroids. just like driving a BMW or mercedes. just because you CAN go over 100mph, doesn't mean you SHOULD

    I tend to train harder on cycle because I'm all jacked up on steroids.

    I lift the same on cycle and off. I give it my all. I lift hard and I lift heavy and always implement progressive overload
