Hard time reaching my macros

I have a hard time consuming more than about 3500 cals a day, unless its junk food like pizza and mcdonalds. Right now Im aiming for 5500 cal a day but most days i fall short. I would say i only get the full 5500 in 1 or 2 days a week.
 
i cannot tell you how many times I see guys who try and 'hit their macros' and finish the day off with pizza and mcdonalds exactly what you said.

your post is why 'counting macros' is the biggest bullshit ever invented in the past 20 years. I do not see a single animal in the wild who counts their macros and never in human history have we counted macros. in fact the ONLY animals which get their macros counted are those in captivity, which ironically suffer from mental issues and depression.

STOP counting macros, delete those stupid apps, stop trying to reinvent the wheel. the same people that started the count your macros scam are the same ones who charge hundreds for copy/paste diet programs which fail miserably.

i'm not sure what idiot put you on that program, but if you continue doing it you will end up FAT, very FAT. you aren't putting on muscle that way sorry. muscle mass is put on via weight and resistance training over the course of many many years. it isn't put on by eating lots of calories

+1, train hard, eat clean, and eat when hungry. Thats it....dont shove down food trying to hit a number if your body says you are hungry then eat, try to make it a good blend of protein, good fats, and good carbs.

Thats it dont over think things.
 
Unless you are a freak beast I doubt you need 5500 calories a day. You can only put on a few lbs of muscle a year after you've been training a while. The frickin' Rock eats 5000 a day and he is a 6'5" 275 lb beast of a man who trains like a pro athlete and does drugs.

Dude im almost 6'9" and 260 pounds and train 7 days a week and use gear and I dont take in 5500 calories a week LOL.

Cook your own food and man up. I eat neither of those and manage it easily.

Unless you are a freak beast I doubt you need 5500 calories a day. You can only put on a few lbs of muscle a year after you've been training a while. The frickin' Rock eats 5000 a day and he is a 6'5" 275 lb beast of a man who trains like a pro athlete and does drugs.

I'm 6'3 and was 298 on Monday. I don't eat 5000 cals a day.

Why in the world are you trying to eat 5500 calories per day? Unless you are a 300 lb beast with low bodyfat like an ifbb pro bodybuilder, that's WAYYYY too much.

And junk loading with empty calories will do nothing but make you a fat mess
