My log to track my first dip with HGH.

Not a bodybuilder just a former b grade athlete that’s had a few major surgeries
Lumbar spine, hip, shoulder.

Will be running a “therapeutic dose” of 2iu a day

In a Lean gain now sitting at 220lbs 100kg
Trt dose of cyp 200mg a week2x a week
2900 cals a day 8k steps
I will increase the cyp add var when I notice stagnation but looking forward to seeing what the HGH can support with.

Goals from this is to improve recovery and support a slight recomp before I mini cut to Aussie summer.

This is more of a TRT and HGH log to be fair but lets see how it goes.

First shot of 2iu today fasted before a core session and finished off with HIIT.


While I am on trt I’m consistent so I’m starting from that as a baseline but yeh trt is the sprinkle here haha

I’ve had a few major surgeries which ended the sporting career and required a long rehab so I work around things training wise. (Lumbar spine, hip surgery)



Diet, Training, Cardio
Currently on 2900 cals
400 carbs
55 fats
200 protein
Lean gain been gaining 400-600g a week
5 days weights changing every block every 6 weeks
Current split has a week to go before a new block:

Push
Pull
Legs
Core
Upper (back/chest/arms)

3 sets heavy, heavy, back off
heavy sets 6-9 reps
back off 12-16 drop weight by 25%

supplements
Multi vitamin, creatine, tudca, burberine, b12, magnesium, coQ10, nac

Never had any surgeries for sports injuries (I have had to rehab etc). I wonder how you got injured?


Back:
got taken out while in the air was omw through the us college system on the west coast
Rehabbed and trained through
Then had a 7 car accident on the I-78
Rehabbed again
Returned to combat sports after ball sport career returned to Au

Competed at a national level for 2-3 years
Rehabbed and competed again until the
Torn hip during competition
Tried to rehab but after two weeks I couldn’t sit or move well

Had hip surgery as the symptoms matched what the hip injury could produce minus sciatica and nerve stimulation

Rehabbed and competed until the nerve pain returned and I couldn’t get out of my car or sleep without sciatica and nerve cramping pain.


Then it highlighted how bad the spine was from my body learning to protect it.

Spine L5 disc partial removal
Laminate removal
L2 pedacyl fracture

Labrum in hip,ligament torn femur shaved down

Shoulder 3 ligaments pinned 90% labrum tear

4 hernias umbilical and inguinal


I’m limited in what I can do
I can’t run,
I don’t dead and if I do it’s trap bar
I train to be strong enough to move and be able to move for my family.
Mentally the mind says you can but the body doesn’t !
Mentally a nightmare when you’ve always been a strong athletic person for a couple decades.

Waiting for stem cells or a disc replacement until then I’ll do whatever it takes to be as close to normal as possible

how about pics of that accident you were in
 
hopefully you got compensated during that accident
definitely a big problem especially when you're mixing it in with weight training

Thanks fellas but I don’t need sympathy haha I’ve found a way to manage and I’m good I just can’t do everything without paying for it so I have to be smarter as opposed to brute force.

Plus the injuries helped me get things prescribed easier 🤣

Pre op, had the surgery and reinjured now the disc isn’t 13mm I broke of a new bit which is 1.3mm so less intense symptoms but enough to stop simple things
I.e running long distance or playing ball sports

So still early days however sleep has become deeper and more restful according to the Apple Watch/sleep tracking app.

Last night was subpar in hours however stats have come up good and feel good.

Had a strong push session 2 days ago with increase in reps/weight
(Nothing major, extra 1-2 or a slight increase in weight 2.5-5kg in certain lifts)
Slight strain in the left pec
and the upper session today felt good, no strain or pain.

Weight it up all of .2-.3kg assume it’s water retention and some increased sodium the last day.

Will see how we track over the next week

I expect to be gaining 400-700g a week considering the anabolics

Yeah, It’s all pretty consistent in terms of electrolytes, water/fluid intake.

When you’ve been tracking intensely for a while you know how you respond to sodium/excess carbs and timing of it.

I have been told that some people react differently to the hgh in terms of water retention - and sides I’m sure other parts play a factor in this (stress, quality of calories, water intake, sleep etc)

Yeah, It’s all pretty consistent in terms of electrolytes, water/fluid intake.

When you’ve been tracking intensely for a while you know how you respond to sodium/excess carbs and timing of it.

Usually 2-2500 sodium Potassium 120-180 Magnesium is variable
Utilising b12 also but oral not injectable
I have hydralite tabs that dissolve but I rarely add unless recovery is weak along with metrics going backwards and volume is up or additional session am weights pm cardio

Weight wise leveling out don’t think I’ve had much water from 2iu so far.

Recovery is feeling better, even with less than ideal sleep it’s being tracked via app as more efficient and I love to be efficient as possible.

Cardio yesterday and due to work I didn’t train today with airline travel and finishing late

Tomorrow is pull day and a 40 minute cardio session on zone 2.

@Justthatdude GH can be high bloat or lower depends on diet and genetics both actually
happy to see you improving, would like some more food updates :) like actual meal pics

yeah I get water retention on growth hormone when I run it too high
also I get carpal tunnel no good

i didnt think that 2IU would do much but I am so fuckin suprised!
definitely have leaned out a little more, more vascularity and my recovery is just more efficent.
less sleep some nights but via the App/Apple Watch my recovery is high.

I think I will blast a little higher Test/maybe add in some orals and might try to bump the HGH up to 4IU for the cut
Will work on the plan with coach

8 exercises - Heavy, Heavy, Backoff sets.
rep range 6-9 heavy - 12-15 back off range (25-30% of heavy range)

Daily 20-30 mins zone 2 cardio as warmup
-2 Cardio days - 1 being HIIT or Norweigan 4x4 - one zone 2 60 mins -
Core training on both cardio days (5 exercises - 3-4 sets of 15-30 reps )

Macros: 450 carbs / 80 fat / 200 pro
Steps reduced to 8k average
 
Upper quad hip vasc - didn’t even lift that day

Update:
Hit 242lbs in the last lean gain
Bf 8-9%
The last 10lbs was adding in other dry compounds for 8 weeks total.
Holding at 236 now veryyy happy with the results.
