Nice job Bru

Here is the latest physique update. Two days out from next show. Abs seem to really be popping which I like.

Thanks @LevButlerov appreciate you compliments.
They are true :D @ssgjpd I respect all guys stepping on stage, not easy to do, and bodybuilders should have more love and respect.
did you see the writeups I'm doing on musclemecca?
https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/forums/musclemecca-bodybuilding-forum.275/
Crazy how adding more food brought the abs out and dropped my weight. Down to wake up weight of 171.8.
Yes because you were depleted, started pumping the metabolic rate and filling you out. :D

Thanks again.

Yes I started reading them and you done a wonderful job.
Happy to see this progress with you. :D what are you doing pre show for the new one? @ssgjpd

I’m driving up today, have tan @ 330 and 630. Plan to catch the finals of the Texas pro.

Meals are the same expect we dropped the rice in meals 2,3 and 5 to 100 grams from 135. Also reduced to 3L from 6L.

Body still looks leans for this morning check in

Dry fast the last day before the show to really tighten up. @ssgjpd

Like, how long can you maintain your stage physique, it’s just like, a day, huh? Or there’s a range if you get it just right. I really don’t know, I just listen to some podcasts.
Not sure, we actually went down in weight from last week while increasing food.

After tomorrow I start a reverse phase then we will take and offseason to put on some tissue.

This is all new to me as well and I just listen to my coach. We have a great venue together and he listens to me on who my body is feeling and makes adjustments.

Night a day difference from last week (left last week, right today)

your body is sucking in the calories and really upping the metabolic rate

I had a blast this past weekend and it has been a great time. From my first prep to stepping on stage the first time, to making huge improvements in my look in one week for the next show, I must say it has been a blast.

I really enjoy this and look forward to this "health and growing time" as we prepare for next year. Never did I think I was going to be able to get the look I have in such a short order (Oct 2024). Especially with someone that has never trained this way. I was always more of a Crossfit style person, up until the old joints gave in :).

I am hooked, every thing about it fits me to a T. I love the structure, the plan and honestly I love the meal prepping.

Here is the updated stage pictures from this past weekend.

Thanks to the entire EVO family for welcoming me in and offering advice and encouragement.

Thanks @LevButlerov

I would like to try and stay some leanish, but feedback was we needed to grow the upper. This we knew, however my coach has it drawn out, I will follow as he has not lead me wrong thus far.

I will be ended this thread and starting a new one once we start the growth phase.

@LevButlerov we will do a health and start growing. I have a month before I am gone for 20 days with no iron training, just straight mountain climbing. Once I get back, I will do labs again to see how things are and then we are going full send on adding tissue.
Not all like being on stage and I'm glad you loved it - hooked!!
@Mobster I really enjoyed it, I did not think I was going to as I stress and get anxiety over how people perceives me. This helped a ton and looking forward to bringing a better and bigger package next year.

@2Thick I did meet some cool people and some others that work with my coach. I am lucky enough to be able to work with my coach 3-4 days week in a personal setting. I also was able to start a trend at work with my transformation that over half of my department is not doing some type of fitness activities and cleaned up there diet.

Yea no training other than hiking up and down a mountain with pack and rifle. If it’s anything remotely close to the one I did in Alaska I average 8miles and 3500 foot of vertical climbs every day

Nice

All is good, been busy with work, training and spending some time with grandsons before my big trip in 3 weeks.

Had labs done last week and everything looking good and where we should be. I did donate some plasma and RBC as my hematocrit was sightly elevated (51).

I was going to run a health phase log, but figured it would be a waste of forum space since I. Even running ragged. I do check in a see how the EVO family is doing.

One last picture, TD today from my prescription TRT. This is 60 day supply in single dose vails

@ssgjpd now that’s a great touchdown man. Any certain reason you go with single dose vials?

@ssgjpd now that’s a great touchdown man. Any certain reason you go with single dose vials?
@ballin2504 - Not my preference as this is how my Dr. prescribes it and also the insurance will accept it. I asked about the 10ML vial and when I first started TRT that is how it was submitted buy insurance rejected and would not cover, it's mind boggling.

1MLs are gtg too :D as long as insurance pays.

You adding to this as a blast?

Especially when my out of pocket cost is $15 for 17 vials.

Some of it will be used. We holding off and staying on 150 a week for now. Then possibly in Oct we will start the growth cycle.
$15 is an awesome price :D

I'd like to see you blast a bit before then with peptides.

Man in America you guys can get boxes of pharma test and I'm lucky if I can get 1 vial at a time up here. There's a Canada wide shortage. I tried to reorder today and they told me to call back Thursday....oh Canada
Where is all this pharma test? Not domestic supply. They used to have middle eastern amps, that’s good stuff. I have a little stash still.

Ooooooh you mean from the doctor.
Yea no pharma test in Canada for over a year now. Super short supply. They're rationing the orders.

Rumour is all our test is being diverted for "gender affirming care". No test for the actual men, just the girls who fell like one.

Conspiracy thoughts intensify
It's the only thing I've heard that makes any sense. The shortage is across all brands. I could understand if only Pfizer became unavailable or something like that. A single company having problems with supply is totally understandable. This is effecting every manufacturer and cypionate has totally disappeared, the one ester doctors prescribe most of all.

You wouldn’t think there’d be sooooo many legitimately transgender men that would go through with it that it would offset the entire supply. My take has always been that there’s a trend of “trans” people, and those are mostly confused kids and almost virtue signalers or whatever you wood call someone who wants to associate with oppression🥴? I believe that there are people who somehow, possibly from birth or before, experienced a developmental hormonal event that switched their gender expression, and this has been replicated on various lab animals. Supposedly. We all know that studies can be created or manipulated to show the desired outcome and this happens to greater and lesser degrees quite often.

I think the former are by far more common and they are ultimately not good for the cause for people who may be living with a treatable but incurable medical condition. Those are rare. My take

I don't know if it's actually all being used. This is Canada. Our government subsidizes all our pharma. So if the government allocates test for the purposes of transitioners then that's what will happen. Our public healthcare pays for their gender affirming care, including surgeries.

If they get transitioner test, we should get bodybuilding test. I have clients who want to transition into bodybuilders :D they need it. @BeMe

That's a great point. I should copy paste that to someone in our government. I identify as a bodybuilder now give me my pharma test!

Gosh you’d think they would have a better grip on the supply chain. The producers here would be in bed with the gov on that. So they would know to ramp up production

I wonder if that works lol but you would have to go to a doc for it.

I'd hope so. It's been over a year like this.

Maybe they're at capacity already and testosterone isn't worth shutting down other production for.

@BeMe That some crazy stuff. No matter the country once the government gets envolved it gets screwed up, no matter the country.

On a different note, I been doing some research as I am headed to Fort Simpson as was planning on bringing my TRT, should I even worry about the hassle with customs?
The EVO podcast just discussed this topic a week or so ago. If you bring your prescription you should be fine. Check out that podcast cuz they have a lot of tips for traveling.

I listened to that one and good information. I plan on carry my script with me as I am already on customs lists as I am traveling with a firearm.

Lol only in America is it more concerning to travel with testosterone than a gun.

Handguns are now restricted up here in Canada so you can't buy them, but if you already own one you're allowed to carry it to a shoot, then bring it straight home. Any deviation in travel could land you in big trouble and they can take your fireams license a guns

LOL...

First time hunting in Canada region and looking forward to it. It shouldn't be a problem but I like to be cautious. 16 more days and I am in the back country.

@BeMe Thanks and I am looking forward to not having me cell phone ring, chirp or vibrate. Heck for that matter, even have signal.

@LevButlerov I will share some pictures when I get back and no Canadian gear other than gear needed to stay warm and dry.

Well gents, I am back from my hunting trip in NWT and finally got to play catch. I have also started my push phase ( will be getting a new log going here shortly) and starting week 4 of it.

A few have wanted to see picture from my trip so here it is. I was able to take a great ram on day 3. This is by far the best tasting wild game animal I have tried and was able to bring 45lbs of some of the leanest protein back :).
