Another hot day in Texas. Lost 6 lbs today. Lot of water weight. My friend who I walk with is away, so I'm a solo act listening to podcasts. Sun is out and concrete pathways are hot. Have some shade, but limited. Hate days like this. I just have to grind thru it. Feel like the weight is coming down again. I would like to wake up close to 165 as I do want to weigh in as a welterweight ( < 165.25 lb) Drying out I should have no problem getting there.

Eating last serving of 93/7 ground beef as I now switch over to ground turkey 99/1 the rest of the way.

On the peptides, question for my peeps, when injecting into sub q. Do you inject into the belly fat or the skin fold between the tissue and skin.
As I mentioned the 5-Amino1q stings, also seems in inflame the fat when injected into fat. However, it stings when into the skin fold, but no welt or inflammation. I hope it is helping. Hard to tell, you see the pictures. I'm doing everything I can to lean into this show.

I think you can thong it on stage for sure :D if you stay this lean, judges love glute shows, will up your placing no matter what! @PrinceDaddy

Depending on what peptides @PrinceDaddy if you get inflamed by it, try pinning your shoulder or arm, small pin IM but shallow.

Finally a cooler cloudy day in Texas. Got my walk in listening to podcasts. No fasting today, but not a lot of eating either all day. Eating ground turkey 99/1 for dinner this evening. I am heading to the final weeks. In 2 weeks, I will be flying out to Pitt for my last show of the year. Want to weigh in at 165.25 or less and be a welterweight.

My leg workout this morning was good. I feel strong. I am not going as heavy now. Just going thru motions and posing a little in the mirrors.
Many compliments from friends but my trained eye is looking for more.

On the peptide injections, I think the skin fold injection is blunting the welt/irritation of Amino-5Q. More posing coming up ahead.

Today was hot. I think around 88 and feels like 110, maybe. No clouds, so back to the heatwave. Still doing my walks by myself.
No fasting today. I just don't cook my big dinner and snack thru the day. No big meals, just snacks thru the day, like meat stick, eggs, spinach,
and a protein shake. I got this Vitamix blender on Prime day a few weeks ago. This is the ultimate smoothie maker. I think it was around 260. I went cheaper with renewed. It is tough and no chunks, leaks or burning smell. It is the bomb. Check it out. It's simple with just powders and ice for me at the moment. After the shows, I'll add fruit and nut butters, etc.

Vitamix Explorian Professional Grade Blender, 3 Presets: Smoothie, Frozen Dessert and Hot Soup, 64oz Pitcher, Black (Renewed Premium)

Tried something new, instagram and youtube always throwing a few ideas my way. I decided to attach a band to bench and do dumb bell RDLs with the belly band holding me in place. I'm going to say interesting, however my normal RDLs are already effective. I feel the glute thigh tie in.
Don't think I will do this again.

Question guys, do you do the glute bridge machine. I see chicks doing all the time. I've done a little but I feel like I don't really need it. The RDLs and reverse hyperextension are more effective glute activation for my mechanics and shape and structure. I really want striated glutes. I can see some shape, but still too much fat for it to peek out.

HOT day in Texas. I walked earlier, but right now I think I saw 102, feels like 119. I hate this time of year. Lost of water during my walk. Had a nice portion of watermelon with electrolyte drinks after returning. I reached my target weight, of course dehydrated but I am getting closer.

Slept very well last night. Not sure why, but great sleep. Really great leg work out today. Was not dragging, basically got a normal pre contest week work out in. Not super heavy, just comfortable pump weight movement.

Try adding 5htp and valerian root to the mix.

You have the glutes and really good leg striations, but when you pose lean back a little so the stomach is more stretched.

Definitely keep up with the electrolytes and the hydration. When it's that hot and humid your body will shut out a lot of minerals and you need to get it back. @PrinceDaddy Looking great in your pictures, your so lean.

I messed up today. Was supposed to fast. However, my friend and I usually go for our walk around 9AM. We had a nice cool rain storm. Cooler temperatures, but too wet to walk. Did not go for the walk till 12pm. So, I ended up snacking a bit. Tomorrow, is not an OMAD day. I just skip the big bolus dinner. Friday is very strict as I have blood work, so will do 20 hour fast. Blood draw is at 3pm.

Did not lose much weight as it was so much cooler during my walk.

I finished off my vials of AOD & 5 Amino. Thought I was done. I actually brought 2 vials each. So reconstituted those and put them in play.
I'm going to try to finish them off by Monday.

Back to normal Texas heat today. Power outage when I got home from my walk. Usually open my garage with my phone. Ugh oh. No spare key. Text message from power company on power outage and expectation of service back around 4 hours later. Only close to 100 outside. End up walking over to my firends house and hang out there till power came back about 3 hours later.

Weighed in at my target weight. Getting close. Need to weigh in and be full at that weight on Tuesday of next week.

Finished my anabolic IM injections. Finished off the remaining Masteron and little EQ. Still doing my peptides. Tomorrow is a true blue water fasting day. Blood draw later in the afternoon.

Feel a little tired and winded due to heat, but generally good. Just trying to stay the course and dial it in

Did not like my cholesterol numbers last blood draw. Cooler day in Texas with some light rain. Got my walk in much easier today. Did not lose much water weight. Still injecting subq peptides. Will likely finish Monday AM.

I need to enter my classed for the NPC North Americans. Will do that in a little bit. Will post my classes as I did last time. I think likely 5 classes.

This one being further away and closer to the start of school and such might be lighter. You just don't know how competitive it will be. You can only control the package you bring. I am done for this year after this show.
Off-season begins.

Overall good work out today. I have been lighter for a few weeks now. Maybe knowing this is my last leg day before the show is helping me finish out. I did not lose as much weight. I usually steam and sauna on the weekends. The sauna was out of commission. My only concern at this point is coming at 165.25. I'm close enough so should be no issue but still a mental mind game.

As I pulled my shirt off today after my workout, I think I see a new change. Something maybe I've never seen. It is cool, but it makes me wonder how it would look if I had more time.

There's a distinct line that appeared around the belly button. I still am fluffy in the area. I don't think I've ever seen that line unless I've stretched the skin below. You can see it coming in on the front double and front lat spread. Still not sharp but there.

Tomorrow is ab focus, chest, shoulders, and plenty of posing. 2 more days to bring it in.

Good solid work out today. Winding down. Biggest concern is making weight. Should not be a problem, but it is a bit of mind game. Will really start watching my weight tomorrow evening. Need to pack.

Good solid work out today. Winding down. Biggest concern is making weight. Should not be a problem, but it is a bit of mind game. Will really start watching my weight tomorrow evening. Tomorrow is back day and I do the walk. So, should still be a normal day. Have seen some partial results from blood work. Not too bad, pretty much expected, better than previous one.

To make 165 should be easy just dry fast 24 hours out you'll tighten up for the weight in and high liquid GI carb refeed to fill up. :D

@LevButlerov What are some high liquid GI carbs?
@PrinceDaddy Best liquid high GI carbs for show day are dextrose or maltodextrin since they hit fast and digest easy. You can mix them in water or even a sports drink like Gatorade for a quick glycogen refill. Some guys will do a carb powder shake with a little protein to help shuttle it in better. The point is speed and keeping digestion light so nothing sits heavy. That way the muscles stay full and pumped when you’re on stage.
I have added a tbsp of honey but that can be a bit of a hit miss you have to trial that 2 weeks out.

Cha ching. I hope I place better than at the Masters Nationals spending that kind of money. We shall see. I do think since NPC Universe and NPC Masters are within a 2 to 3 weeks, most folks do both. This one being further away and closer to the start of school and such might be lighter. You just don't know how competitive it will be. You can only control the package you bring. I am done for this year after this show.
Off-season begins.

Overall good work out today. I have been lighter for a few weeks now. Maybe knowing this is my last leg day before the show is helping me finish out. I did not lose as much weight. I usually steam and sauna on the weekends. The sauna was out of commission. My only concern at this point is coming at 165.25. I'm close enough so should be no issue but still a mental mind game.

As I pulled my shirt off today after my workout, I think I see a new change. Something maybe I've never seen. It is cool, but it makes me wonder how it would look if I had more time.

There's a distinct line that appeared around the belly button. I still am fluffy in the area. I don't think I've ever seen that line unless I've stretched the skin below. You can see it coming in on the front double and front lat spread. Still not sharp but there.

Tomorrow is ab focus, chest, shoulders, and plenty of posing. 2 more days to bring it in.

All workouts done. No fasting today. Light eating. Will pay close attention to weight starting this evening. May have to cut water and food to make the weight. Will weigh in around 5pm tomorrow. I was 165.6 after my walk today after sweating out. I've been rehydrating. So, I may be closer to 169 or so now. I have fiber in the mix, also senna tablets. Have to play the mind game. I am very close.

I'm finally packed. Will get up early tomorrow and do my body hair grooming. Will do my facial shave there.

Thanks everyone for your support. I am excited. I'm anxious to see how it looks. I can only control my package.

Yesterday wake up : 168

Flew into Pitt. Did not eat or drink anything. By the time I got settled into the hotel room I weighed in at 167. Body just not releasing any fluids. Barely dripping piss. No poop. Drying out. I end up going to hotel gym and doing 35 min stair mill. A little work out. Go for a walk outside. Got 9500 steps between morning and evening. Cool here in Pitt around 70, so not much of a drop. I come back in and I am 166.2. I am irritated, I did not get within a pound on departure. Feel like I got to eat it.

Go down to the weigh ins and and explain my situation. Hotel does not have sauna or steam room. Guy tells me you have another 2 hours or so.
Go to your room, put a towel under the bathroom door and run the hot water shower. So, I did. It worked. Took an hour or so. I jogged in place, did jumping jacks, spit. Just dripping piss here and there. It worked. Went back down weighed in as welterweight at 165.25. So, I am good to for Thursday bodybuilding, Today I will do Masters Classic and Mens Physique.

Eating some light carbs like Fiber One cereal and some light crackers. No water as I can still dry out.

My weight this morning is: 164

My Bloodwork from 08/22. This was the Friday before the bodybuilding show.

Previous blood work results from June 20
are here

* LDL improved from previous draw. I would imagine post show when I get back to just TRT and Reta should improve even more to normal range. I did pull the T3 ED to 3 times a week. This too should improve as I remove it post show.
I am on doctor prescribed TRT so I would expect FSH and LH would be low. These are new panels on the BB blood test.
Other values are around the slightly elevated range for me.

Hematocrit and Hemoglobin elevated. I did have low dose EQ up to the end. I would imagine that should return to normal levels post show.

My plan is to run blood work again around 11/01. I got back home 2 days ago so I am catching up.
I will be posting results and daily once again. Just catching up.
