Approved Log 2025 Cycle Log - Body Recomp Journal

I got my complete labs done this morning. I started the Pharmaqo test on 8/17/2025. My last TRT clinic test shot was 8/14/2025 and I got a total test lab that day. Has it been long enough on the Pharmaqo that I would be able to notice if it was over or under doses compared to the pharmaceutical grade I was on before?

My expectation is that my total T level will be higher on today’s lab than it was on 8/14 because that was 3 weeks and this is 5 weeks. So if it comes in lower or the same level, that would indicate something suspect about switching to Pharmaqo. Am I thinking about that right?

About 2 weeks in? not much time but lets see the bloods as they come in :D @texas.redneck

I got partial results on labs back - CBC and CMP. I am still waiting on Test and Estrogen. This HTC number is giving me some anxiety. How concerned should I be?

Here’s the three readings I got on HTC over the past 5 weeks. The first two were in-house at the TRT clinic and the last one was Quest labs. I'm just making that note because I do not know if Quest Labs maybe runs higher quality tests.
  • 7/28/25 (morning before 1st injection)
    • HCT: 48.5%
  • 8/14/25 (~2.5 weeks in at 300 mg/wk)
    • HCT: 43.2%
  • 8/29/25 (~week 5, 300 mg/wk)
    • HCT: 52.7%
That slightly elevated creatinine amount has been my norm for a few years now. I'm surprised glucose is high because I've cut out the sugary desserts. I've had about one heavy sugary dessert per month for the last 3-4 months. Normally when I do that it brings my blood sugar down in range. Is that because of MK677 messing with my insulin?

@texas.redneck that jump to 52.7 is something to keep an eye on but it’s not panic mode yet. Labs can vary a bit between in-house and Quest so it’s good you noted that. TRT can drive hematocrit up as your body produces more red blood cells so it’s a pretty common side effect. If it holds above 52 consistently, you should donate blood. Creatinine looks stable for you so that’s less of a concern, 1.38 is just in the range. The glucose could definitely be pushed higher from MK677 since it increases GH and can blunt insulin sensitivity, so that lines up with what you’re seeing. I wouldn't really panic over this but I would start adjusting food intake for sure.
I haven't seen regular food updates from you or training updates, so I'm doing a lot of guessing as you can imagine.

I was going to donate blood next Wednesday. Think that will cut it down enough to get through the rest of the cycle? Also, this is concerning for me thinking about doing EQ next spring because I understand EQ raises RBC even more?

I don’t post much on my diet because it really doesn’t change much. Like I replaced whole milk with almond milk was one of the biggest changes and started rotating in more oatmeal instead of bagel or waffle. Here it is again:

Breakfast:
Oatmeal or bagel or Kodiak light and flufffy protein waffles (doing more oatmeal in rotation instead of bagels or waffles to cut calories)
3 eggs or 3 turkey sausage links (not both but sometimes two eggs and two sausage)
Scoop of protein and 12oz almond milk
Berries

Post workout-
Protein shake and banana

Lunch:
Jimmy John club lulu on wheat bread or a totally tuna on French bread
Apple or chips or both
Or I have an Icon meal for lunch which are usually ~450-500 calories and ~35g protien

Snacks:
Apple + couple cheese sticks + chomp beef stick + almonds

Or barbell protein bars

Or another protein shake

Dinner:
Icon meal as described above

Or chicken curry and white rice from local Asian (add some shrimp)

Or wife makes something healthy high protein like chicken or fish

Snack /dessert:
Vanilla Greek yogurt + berries

I’ll add almond milk and protein to any of the above meals if I feel like it’s short on protein.

I think so, it will help with the rbc and overall health. I wouldn't worry about EQ as much now. Donate blood and get some daily aspirin in the game.

Based on what you laid out, you’re sitting around 2200–2500 calories depending on the choices. Protein is strong, in the 180–200g range daily which needs to be around 250 for your size. Carbs between 200–280g, heavier on days you go French bread or rice, lighter on oatmeal and Icon meals. Fats end up around 70–85g depending if you lean more on sausage, cheese, and almonds. Overall it’s balanced, but really not enough for actual results. If you want to recomp grow, you need more protein bars, if you want to cut, you need to cut those carbs etc.

I can add some more protein. So just want me to add some pure protein bars or something relatively low carb or just go old school and eat a packet of tuna?

You can add bars if you are short on time or chicken breast.

I also landed on this training split:

Monday - Upper
Tuesday - Lower
Wednesday -Swim
Thursday - Rest
Friday - Pull
Saturday - Push
Sunday - Legs

going to see how that works. I think the rest day can be floating depending how I feel.

I'm really interested to see how my body responds to these bodybuilding routines because I haven't done true bodybuilding probably since I was 20-21. I had got into MMA and gone more of a general physical preparedness workout routines (like the type athletes do in conjuction with sports, think compound lifts, supersetting, explosiveness, etc). Then I had a whole powerlifting phase (years of just trying to increase bench, press, deadlift, squat). Then I went through an Olympic lifting phase. Then I went back to more general physical preparedness.

This is really first time in 20 years I've just started hammering out 8-20 reps, using machines to failure, and doing this volume targeting single muscles. I wish I had done this years ago because so far it really feels good on my back, as in, not causing pain and discomfort when I wake up every morning. And I've discovered the Hack Squat machine which I can knock out some pretty brutal squats without loading my spine.

Edit: I'll get some updated pics maybe next week. This past week was deload so not a lot of progress. And still two weeks before I start Anavar.

Ok, so real talk here guys. I quit the Gonadoril (HCG substitute) and there's a very noticeable reduction in semen volume, like kind of embarassing. I didn't think the volume of semen was supposed to change just because my testicles shut down and aren't producing sperm. I thought semen was separate from sperm. Does this sound right or is this some other side effect?

Sexual drive is fine, libido is fine, ability to maintain erection fine, ability to orgasm is fine. However, the actual amount of fluid expelled during orgasm is significantly less, like maybe 1/4 or less (kind of wimpy looking, like almost just dribbles out).

And I got vasectomy already and semen volume didn’t change at all or it wasn’t noticeable before or after vasectomy.

@texas.redneck that split looks solid for what you’re chasing right now. You’ve got the big lifts from your past phases in your toolbox already, now you’re just plugging into that higher-rep, bodybuilding style and it will work, I do it all the time and have clients doing higher volume. Machines are a great call too, especially the hack squat since you can blast legs without crushing your spine or injury. Injury is 1st issue that stops all.

Yeah brother, semen volume absolutely changes when the boys shut down because the testicles contribute fluid along with sperm, it’s not just sperm by itself. The prostate and seminal vesicles give the bulk of the fluid, but the testes still add to it, so when they’re off you’ll notice less output. That’s why on TRT or after dropping HCG you can see the difference, it’s not dangerous but it looks and feels different. A vasectomy only clips the sperm transport, doesn’t touch the glands making the fluid, so that’s why you didn’t see any change back then. Drive, orgasm, and erection staying normal is a good sign, it’s not a dysfunction issue, it’s just volume.
I suggest clients run HCGenerate in cases similar, but I saw your "n2guard" back and forth with @LevButlerov lol ;) so I wont bother.
Nothing to panic about, just one of those tradeoffs that come with shutting the system down brother.
These are amazing levels :) congratulations.

Thanks. That’s almost the same level I had when I was at 400mg a week in 2016. I was 2900 then.

Think I could fine tune it from here. Like dial back to 250 a week and still have good results or just keep it here?

I was actually thinking of doing 280 a week for ease of measurement on the syringe because on my 3ml syringe it’s easier to mark it off at either 0.7 (140mg) or 0.8 (160mg) then trying to guess the middle between the two. There isn’t a measurement mark at 0.75 which is really what I need for 150mg 2x week For my bi-weekly shots.

I have a similar supplement cocktail to hCGenerate in my cabinet I think. I remember double checking all the key ingredients back when Lev and I were having that discussion. I didn’t think those natural supplements were powerful enough to do much of anything while on cycle. So I was just saving them for PCT and when I am off testosterone…

ok, so I have 14x 500mcg Gonadorelin tablets left. I don't know how much you know about these. The TRT Nurse Practitioner had me on 1 tablet 24 hours after injections. So that would be 7 weeks worth if I take her same dosage. Wondering if 250mcg 2x week would get the same results. then I'd have plenty to get back on it and go straight through PCT. If not, I need to wait a couple more weeks before I start on it again so I'm covered up till I start PCT

I thought it was important to give my pituitary gland a little nudge coming off testosterone. I know HCG is a no no becauase it surpresses your pituitary but this Gonadorelin actually stimulates the pituitary. So do I want to be on Gonadorelin just the first week after my last injection or the two weeks after my last injection?

I'm in the middle of week 6 right now. I'm going 13 weeks (I'm doing 13 instead of twelve because week 14 i'm going on vacation so it was convenient to stop the week before). So I'm on Week 6, going 13 weeks total on testosterone, two weeks off (14 and 15), then start PCT weeks 16,17,18,19.

If we can figure this out, then I can just use up this Gonadorelin which I have already anyways and resolve the above issue. LOL.

I would use hcgenerate always has it all in 1 there, you will see a big change in volume.

Hard to guess if you should fine tune because diet and training and supplements and sleep all play a role in this, I think you know this.
Please get more update on the log going.

With only 14 tabs left you’ll want to stretch them smart. The way NP had you on one tab the day after each pin is more of a maintenance approach, but you can cut it down and still get some stimulation. Running 250mcg twice a week will likely give the pituitary a nudge without burning through them fast. Remember, Gonadorelin is short acting, so you’re not “covered” the way HCG mimics LH, it’s just a pulse to remind the system. I’d save the bulk of those doses for the gap after your last shot leading into PCT, since that’s when your body needs the wake-up call most. First two weeks after last injection is the prime window to hit it, then let your SERM take over. That way you stretch the supply and still get the timing right.

That’s what I thought. So how much should I take during that two weeks after last injection window? Like 500mcg every other day? 250mcg every other day. Just the 500mcg 2x week like Np had prescribed?

If I figure that out, then I’ll set that much aside for PCT and know how much I have left to use gor the rest of my cycle.

That would be guessing, we should plan your PCT way closer to the PCT itself depending on how you feel. @texas.redneck

It is. You can, of course, check this. Indeed why are you using any meds without a basic understanding of how your body works? Heck, I even posted on this very idea last week.

Pituitary gland produces test, balls sperm and prostate the semen (they are, of course, inter-related).

And why is the volume produced an issue? I can't recall ever having a GF make any comment about the amount of liquid.

We've actually covered this on as podcast. HCGenerate will NOT boost test produced naturally on cycle (as there isn't any - or very little) but it DOES help with ball and prostate health ON cycle as well as speed up recovery post cycle

you can def load up in herbals. those do work for what you are after. i know that we had an adult 'performer' on here a year ago who did a short log and mentioned some of his tricks https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/members/inkandsteel.9509/ i know he still cruises the forum so maybe reach out to him

what you are noticing is the reality. there is no reason to get upset, now you know for next time. i'm glad you are trying out new things to see @texas.redneck

Thanks. Yeah that's basically all I did was try something new based on what I was seeing you all research posts on HCG. On previous cycles I just did the HCG. This time I kept reading ya'lls post and articles saying HCG was purely aesthetic (prevent shrinkage), no reason for a guy that already had kids and vasectomy, and no benefit during PCT. So even though I had the Gonadorelin, I didn't have enough of it for the rest of the cycle. I almost bought some HCG, but I thought I'd just give it a try without since you all assured me its perfectly safe. I just never remembered reading the part about semen supply decreasing quite noticeably.

yeah now you can change things up and see what happens and report back. in the process other people who see this thread will learn from you and that is how he all get smarter :)

not embarassing to discuss this among your evo family. the truth is most people don't discuss stuff like this. so its good to get a discussion going @texas.redneck

That would be guessing, we should plan your PCT way closer to the PCT itself depending on how you feel. @texas.redneck
I was just looking for an estimate for how may of these 500mcg Gonadorelin tablets to save for that two week window after last injection to start of PCT. Then I can set those aside and use the rest on cycle.

It's really hard to find info on this Gonadorelin sublingual tablets. It's hard to find info on Gonadorelin in general. I think I find some info on it, only to find out they are talking about some injectable form of Gonadorelin not the sublingual tablets and the dosing is different depending if its tablet or injection.

In theory though, this stuff sounds great for PCT because it does everything HCG doesn't - kick start pituatary not surpress it. That's why I want to make sure I save enough for end of cycle.

I would not even use Gonadorelin to begin with unless it's for 1 week to blast off PCT, really a lot of things bodybuilders are using these days are misused.

I dont like that stuff either

Yeah, we're saying the same thing. If I didn't already have this stuff I wouldn't care. But since I have it already, and it sounds beneficial to blast off PCT as you noted, then I mine as well use it.

I'm still just trying to figure out what that blast off looks like. Is it to take a 500mcg tablet every day for a week, every other day, monday/thursday, etc. I can break them in half and do 250mcg every day for 7 days.

What I've read on this Gonadorelin is that it's a really short "pulse" to my pituitary, like 24 hours. That's why I don't know if I hit it daily for a week to get that PCT blast going or what.

These Estradiol ultrasensitive labs take a long time to come back. I did that stand alone one a few weeks ago and it took about a week. Then I got another last week that was part of the total lab tests, I always pay the extra to get the test results back one at a time as soon as available. The estrogen test is still outstanding. It's been one week today. I guess factor in labor day but I already got back the CMP, Testosterone, and CBC a few days ago. CMP was like next day.

@texas.redneck that jump to 52.7 is something to keep an eye on but it’s not panic mode yet.
Is my sensitivity here on the HTC levels going to be a problem if I want to try EQ next year like we had previously discussed? Because isn't EQ known to increase RBC which results in an increase in HTC?

This HTC level has caused me some anxiety this week. I wanted to wait till next week to donate blood but I'm just going tomorrow. I wake up in middle of night and I'm paranoid like my blood is thickening and my hearts working harder. And when I was at swim this week I'm thinking that I'm like blowing up my heart muscles. It's probably irrational but makes me kind of squeamish thinking about it.

My wife has a wrist blood pressure cuff that I've been checking my BP on and it's in my usual range (like ~129 over 77).

@texas.redneck you’re overthinking it. Your BP is fine and getting that donation tomorrow will ease your head right away. EQ will raise RBC but plenty manage it just by keeping up on blood work and a draw when needed. What you’re feeling at night is more anxiety than blood thickness. You’ll be fine.

Waiting for them to be ready :D

I’m talking about these Gonadorelin sublingual tablets I have. Pop them like every other day the week after my last injection to kickstart the pituitary.

I never bought any HcG based on the evo moderators advice that it just a waist of money, can create more estrogen, and is no good for PcT because it’s suppressive of pituitary

Those in house tests still show me lower. Carter blood care finger prick had my Hemoglobin at 15.7 and she said multiply that by 3 for my hematocrit which would be 47.1.

ok you're worried about this before you give blood? @texas.redneck

Hey Everyone,
Next week is week 7 and I’m going to be on my 300mg/week of Test through week 13 (7 more weeks). I had planned to do the Anavar at 40mg/day for the last 6 weeks (weeks 8-13). Should I stick to that plan or do you all have other suggestions?

For example, should I just start next week
You can stick to it in theory but can we start getting updates on food and training please? :D @texas.redneck havent seen much.

Diet hasn't changed much from what we just discussed earlier this week. I made some minor tweaks based on your feedback as follows:

1. Protein - I added some more protein sources as you suggested in the form of extra protein bars, and I bought this tom thumb grilled boneless wings premade pack (it's more like chopped up chicken breast in bit size pieces, not sure why they call wings). I have been sprinkling in with snacks and stuff some of those grilled chicken wings, and doubled up on a couple servings of protein here and there. For example, double protein in a salad bowl at chipotle (carne asada), and double protein in a poke salad bowl (salmon and tuna).

2. Carbs - I dialed back carbs a little more. I have only been doing oatmeal in mornings (no bagel or waffles in rotation anymore). I started doing salad bowls instead of regular bowls (so no rice base just salad base). Little tweaks like that. Not much but I'm seeing my daily weigh in trend down about 1lb consistently in past 7 days.

I cheated with some Halo top ice cream this week. That was first time since about 3 weeks ago when I had an Andy's ice cream.

Training is as I said it would be. I don't really miss training days. I deloaded last week and so far this week I've hit my upper, lower, swim, and pull days. Tomorrow will be push, sunday will be legs to wrap up this week. Following Jeff Nippards plan but modified. I still have some decent progressive overload going (adding some weight or reps), not quite as much as those first 3 weeks. For example, instead of increasing 10-20lb jumps week to week it's settled back down to adding 5-10 or going from 10 to 12 reps for 3 sets across.

I am pushing my body pretty hard for even being on Testosterone right now. I'm throwing in little extras here and there, like today for example was pull day but I through in some Hack Squats so that I hit hack squats 3x this week. Now that I discovered I can actually do a squatting movement without hurting my back, I wanted to get some extra in. I've been relying solely on lunge movements for many years now due to not being able to load my spine with degenerative disc. I just recently discovered Hack squats don't seem to load my spine.

Killing it on sleep. Bed by 9pm up between 5 and 5:30am. I'm usually good with sleep because I like my sleep. LOL.

I'll get some updated pics maybe the beginning of next week. There was no point in doing updated pics this week since I was coming off a deload week, and I don't think I moved the needle much during the deload.

EDIT: successfully been resisting getting some Zynn. So staying clean. I don't drink or do drugs either. Been clean since 1998.

You’ve made some solid tweaks and it shows with that steady pound a week drop. Protein looks locked in, and the switch to doubling up at meals is exactly how you keep the muscle fed while leaning out. Pulling carbs back with the salad base and dropping the bagels was the right move, nothing extreme but it’s paying off I hope, do you feel it?
Training structure is good too, you’re consistent and still finding ways to progress without wrecking your back. Hack squats are a huge win for you since they let you push legs without the spine load, keep those in rotation. I would like to see more detailed training updates as you go though.

Sleep is dialed, recovery’s on point, and that’s why everything is moving the way it should. Sleep being #1 imo.

Yes, what you said is accurate except not a steady pound per week. Just over the past week.

The first three weeks I jumped from 196 straight to 206-207lbs and have hung out there since.

This week I started dialing back carbs and my weekly average ticking down closer to 205. We’ll see if that keeps trending down through next week.

The last cycle I did a Tbol finisher the last several weeks and went strict Keto and I was looking pretty jacked. I don’t really want to diet that extreme this time. So I am Going to see what just moderately cutting some carbs looks like.

I didn’t really have a cutting goal on this cycle. the goal was just add some lean muscle that sticks with me when I am off the cycle.

You did what you needed to do this run. Big bump up at the start means your body soaked it in, now you’re just holding steady which is fine. Dropping carbs slowly is smarter than a crash because you’ll keep more of that new size.
Keto last time gave you a sharp look, but you don’t need to suffer like that every cycle. Though I think if we cut we should try retatrutide with light keto style low carbs.
The lean tissue you added will stick better if you ease off instead of swinging extremes. Ride this out and see how your weight trends the next week or 2 before making another adjustment. I want to see next week updates already :D @texas.redneck

Related to this cycle - anything stopping me from going from 300mg/week to 400mg/week the rest of this cycle?

Other than I already did labs at stable 300mg/week blood levels I guess.

I did the math and that is the difference between me using up the next vial or being stuck with a half used vial of Test at the end of this.

Unrelated to this cycle, I was looking at 1:1 test/EQ mixes. Assuming I buy from one of Evo’s authorized dealers (Napsgear, domestic supply, etc), are Geneza and Ultima quality the same or is one brand considered better than the other?
I like @domestic-supply.com Greg's mixes. I support his stuff always quality. You can get a mix but why not just buy test and eq?

You can go to 400mgs but how are we controlling E2? @texas.redneck

I’ve never stacked two injectables before so I am open to suggestions. I thought the mix would be convenient for that cycle we were talking about me doing next spring. And the test and EQ mixes seem common. There were several options, but I asked about Geneza or Ultima because they each at a 1:1 ratio option and we had been talking about me doing 300/300 next year.

What brand is Greg’s Mix?

I’ll have my aromasin this week and I also just got some more anastrozle because napagear had some Geneza anastrozle that was 50% off. I actually think the 0.25mg Monday and Thursday might have knocked my E2 down too much. I was going to try just 0.25 1x this week.

And still haven’t got results on that second E2 test. I think they collected blood for it Thursday before Labor Day.

Edit: and I will post screenshots of my workouts this week. Just wasn’t in mood to get on my computer today and its easier to cut the screenshots when I’m on my laptop.

And the mix I tend to be careful with mixes myself tbh.

I think we need to wait for the e2 test before really diving deep into AIs. @texas.redneck

Well these labs don’t make it easy to make e2 adjustments when they take a week or more to get me the results every time. LOL. I will definitely send to another lab besides Quest next time.
I would wait always on bloods, if we stay playing with hormones we can overplay, how is your training going? @texas.redneck

Example Food day from Sunday 9/7/25

Breakfast:
1/2 oatmeal and blueberries
cup of almond milk with one scoop of protein (30g)
2 eggs + 2 egg whites with mushroom, onion, spinach

Post workout:
Banana
42 gram protein shake

Lunch:
Cava bowl with double steak (salad, cucumbers, and various vegetables with feta and hummus)

Snack:
Grilled chicken bites (~6oz

Dinner:
bunch of turkey sausage (like big braut size) with sauerkraut and grilled vegetables

Dessert:
1 cup vanilla greek yogurt, berries, walnuts

That should have land me somewhere between 200-250. Bottom line, I ate when I was hungry and made sure it had protein in it.

Saturday 9/6/25 was similar except swap Cava bowl with a Chipotle bowl and swap that sausage at dinner with grilled chicken breast and might have had a little mashed potatoes .

I look at the weights on my workouts, and it does hurt my ego coming from primarily focusing on strength previously. I'm really trying to do bodybuilding here. So I'd like to note for the record, that all these lifts are controlled on the eccentric 1-2 seconds, full ROM, full stretch, and some of the final sets are overloaded partial stretch, or drop sets and stuff. sometimes 1 second pause at bottom on presses and I'm taking almost every set to failure (definitely last 1 to 2 sets).

I decided I'm going to take it up from 300 to 360. It's easy to measure off at 0.9 ml marker on the syringe (2x week). I don't think that is too aggressive, and then I won't have so much left in vial at the end. And before you say anything, I wouldn't be opposed to just doing another week at the end of the cycle to use up some of the juice, but I'm traveling that week. That's why it is convenient to take this cycle out to week 13 and then I travel week 14.

I like the walnuts in the end, overall very clean, Chipotle is fairly good, no carbs one right? and mashed gotta go :P

Dont worry about it, bodybuilding is different from just powerlifting your way up.

You knew I was going to ask :P I dont think that's aggressive at all 360 is a good level, 400mgs is usually bodybuilding TRT!

Yeah seems like guys always think they have to do things in terms of increments of 100 (300, 400, and 500). A 60mg jump is like what some men might take for a TRT shot (real TRT, not this kind of TRT. LOL).

I’m also questioning whether it’s even worth running Anavar the last 6 weeks. Is it mostly for aesthetics, or does it actually synergize well with test and help build muscle that’ll stick post-cycle? Or will it help me melt off ~5lbs?

As much as I want to look cool in pics for you all, I'm not sure I should do Anavar just for that. LOL. I can just save it for the cycle I"m planning next Spring when I do want to look aesthetically pleasing.

The thing is that this is basically my winter “bulk” cycle that I started early because I had to shift my whole training schedule up because of that really early-season Half Ironman in March.

In other words, I wouldn’t normally have a long-distance race that early in the year that I have to start training for right after Thanksgiving. So in the past November–February is usually when I'd push hard on weight training like I'm doing right now. So my usual November to February offseason got moved to August to November.

Hopefully you followed that. At any rate, Anavar yes/no?

If this is your bulk cycle and you’ve already got a race lined up in March then Anavar doesn’t really fit the plan. It shines more when you’re trying to polish things up or lean out, not when you’re chasing size and strength through the winter. The muscle gains you’ll hold from it are usually minimal compared to what test is already giving you. It might make you look a little tighter for pics, but that’s mostly cosmetic water balance and hardness. If your calories are in surplus you’re not going to “melt” fat with Anavar, it’s not magic. Better move is to save it for spring when aesthetics actually matter to you. Right now stick to the heavy training and food since that lines up better with your Ironman prep. @texas.redneck

I was starting to lean this way. Should we just take me up to 400 mg of test? Or not get caught up at chasing gains, and just stay smooth and steady.

Edit: I still want to trim up some (drop ~5lbs. I don’t think I should be more than 200 lbs on gear or 190 off gear. I’ve been studying myself a lot more in the mirror lately and looking at old pics and I think those are the weights I look the best just in general.

We can do 400mgs test but before more lets play this game we have :D

did you open and close with cardio?
So remember I cut most of my cardio except for Wednesday swim so I could hit up 5 days a week 1-1:30 hour lifting sessions.

Warmup:
So on a couple of those days I walk my dog 1 mile with 20lb weighted vest then drive straight to gym. If I don’t walk dog, then I just do 5 min on some cardio machine at gym. Then I’ll do two back prep type movements ( plank, bird dog, clamshells, etc), some quick dynamic stretching, then start workout.

Cool down:
Weekdays I run to my car because I spent way too long at gym and need to go to work.
Weekends I take a protein shake and banana than do this 1 hour Yin yoga class after lifting. It’s not cardio. Just long 3-5minute stretch holds

Cool down:

Yes I wasn't sure if your schedule changed. :D Yin Yoga would be good if you can do 30min and 30min cardio boost.

@texas.redneck Excellent work on this training. Also the food looks fantastic. That's a healthy looking dessert.

bro that a lot of training wow @texas.redneck You pumping some good volume. I give you a lot of credit.
It is a lot. We'll see how long I can keep up this pace. This is probably 1.5x what I could maintain if I was natural right now. I am used to 6 days a week working out. But it's different when it's just 2-3 days lifting, with a saturday morning bike or friday morning swim.

bros the diet looking better and better. you certainly not eating like a texas redneck should @texas.redneck you eating very clean good work

@texas.redneck assisted pullup is a good one. hopefully eventually you can do it without. and even by strapping some weight
I can normally do 6-10 dead hang pullups. I had jacked up my bicep tendon back on memorial day when I was doing a Murph workout and did 100 kipping pullups. I hadn't done a Murph style workout since 2021, or ran all year because of my degenerative disc. But I woke up memorial day and was going to prove to myself I could do it no problem. Sure enough, I did it only 4 minutes longer than when I did it in 2021. The only problem was I couldn't really fully extend or fully contract either of my arms for about a week after. LOL.

And then about 6-8 weeks later, when I thought it was healed, I tried some dead hang pullups and re-injured it in July. So then I completely stopped all rows and curls for most of august and just now reincorporating them. You'll notice my bicep curl sets were like 10-15lbs.

EDIT: there's a lesson to be learned in there. Although it was very fulfilling to knock out the Murph workout, I'm not sure it was worth not being able to do any pulling exercises or curls for over two months after. LOL>

I have been looking in the mirror a lot more since starting this cycle and come to realize that I'm carrying too much fat right now so I'm trying to trim about 5lbs even though this wasn't really planned to be a cutting cycle. Based on my history, I just feel like this is where I should be:

Less than 200lbs on gear
Less than 190lbs not on gear
Maybe up to 193-195 not on gear but on Creatine.

I'm kind of stuck at 205lbs right now.

So I did this exercise summarizing my steroid history from an excel workbook that I have a tab for each cycle I have done. I was curious how much wear I might have put on my body thus far. This was a little cringe as I went back and looked at these, you all can go ahead and have fun roasting me. LOL

Spring 2016 (36 years old and first cycle) - 500mg/week Test Enanthate for 10 weeks. I have very poor records for this. I wrote a note on this spreadsheet that read, "nothing on this cycle record is that accurate other than I did 10 weeks of Enanthate at 500mg week". So just trying to piece together what I might have done. Looks like some nolvadex on cycle. I think this is the one where I just tanked my estrogen because I didn't know that was a thing. I planned this for 12 weeks but by week 10 I was like, f this I'm done.

I didn't do any labs that first cycle because no one ever told me back then how easy it was to just order labs online. I was on the forums and everyone said get labs, get labs, but I thought that like meant I had to go have a doctor order the labs. As such, I was not great at getting labs back then on these first couple cycles.

Winter 2016 (37 years old)- 400mg/week Test Cypionate for 5 weeks. This was the one that I went to my doctor and got labs at week 5 on cycle (end of December 2016) and then checked again in April 2017 three months off cycle. I had notes on here that my first two pins that I did in quads caused major PIP and swelling in quads (this was prescribed Cyp from US pharmacy. I had collected a couple vials on prescriptions and just saved). Noted I felt minor flu like symptoms and lethargy around days 4-8.

Spring 2018 (38 years old and the only of these cycles I felt really good about) - 470mg/week Test Cypionate for 12 weeks with 4 weeks of Tbol. Now I finally got dialed in it looks like. Did this one the full 12 weeks, started Aromasin around week 3, switched to Adex around week 7 (not sure why). I did blood donation around week 4. I did Keto for the last 3 weeks. I have pictures of this one and looked pretty cut and jacked. I even used some test prop EOD for the two weeks after last cyp injection prior to PCT. That seems kind of dumb in hindsight. I think the prop might have made more sense to frontload. I know I did the liver support mix of TUDCA, NAC and milk thistle when I did Tbol.

The above Spring 2018 cycle I felt really good about. I felt good the whole 12 weeks, really crushed some goals. I was doing 5x5 front squats with 275 (my back wasn't as trashed then). I was doing 3x10 bench with 225, overhead pressing 155+, dead hang pullups with 40lb added, etc. I have stat sheets from back then. I also did a Murph workout on cycle that I finished in 50 minutes so I must have been keeping up with cardio

AFter this cycle, it's downhill from there:

End of summer 2018 and Spring 2019 - two different cycles that consisted of 2 weeks on TEst prop 100mg eod and Tbol ed. It looks like I had leftover prop and tbol from above cycles and was just board and doing stuff. LOL.

Then nothing 2020 to 2024 up until the cycle that is the topic of this log at age 46. So far this is the best run cycle I have done although I'm not seeing the results in the mirror yet. It will be hard to top the Spring 2018 cycle as far as looking in the mirror at results just because I finished that one off with Tbol and 3 weeks on keto.

Edit: Back to why I put this together, how much damage long term do you think I've done, if any? Since those last cycles in 2019 I've had annual physicals every year with CMP and CBC's etc. and nothing out of ordinary. I have resting heart rate around 52-53, no blood pressure issues or HDL/LDL issues or anything. So safe to say I lucked out without doing much damage to myself back then?

my resting heart rate has ticked up from 52-53 to 56-57 when I started this cycle. But I assume that's temporary. Whenever I do Zynn my resting heart rate always ticks up to that range until I get off Zynn then it goes back down. I don't think fluctuations in my average resting heart rates between 50-60 is alarming from what I've seen.

yeah i think the elbows take a beating a lot

Question - would it be better to plan it so my trip at the end of October is my first week after last injection of this cycle or my second week?

i think week 1 after my last injection that my blood levels will still be peaking and i will want to be home with access to my gym and more control over my diet. Then second week is my vacation but I don’t want to be all fatigued the second week while I am out of town. On my previous cycles I really don’t recall crashing or anything after I came off. It was pretty smooth like I didn’t even notice.

how long is your trip? 1 week or 2 weeks or how long?

It's only a week. I just don't want to feel pressure to go workout and be strict on diet and all that. I'm leaning towards making vacation week the second week off-cycle.

If I understand correctly, my first week after the last injection my Test is still going to be anabolic high and I'll want to keep my workout pace and diet up. Then the second week it's down to more normal but hasn't completely exited my system. So I shouldn't have any kind of "crash" or fatigue the second week, right?

I think your cycles are good mainly testosterone from the look of it, and I really think you moved forward well. :D looking at what you wrote, it doesn’t seem like you did anything extreme enough to cause lasting damage, especially since your labs and vitals have stayed solid all these years. That first couple runs were sloppy, but lots of guys start that way until they figure out estrogen and blood work. The 2018 cycle was clearly the peak where you had things dialed in and training lined up with it. The random prop/tbol blasts after that were more just wasted time than real risk. With annual checkups staying normal and no blood pressure or lipid issues, you probably came out fine. The bump in resting heart rate on cycle is expected and should settle when you’re off, that's why I always press everyone on cardio!
