Such a tough day at work today, we had a Wood fired pizza company come out and everyone was eating pizza, not really craved anything before and pretty hungry today, stayed away from it and drunk my water.
Yuup.. I know that feeling.
It can really suck at time's huh.
I try to reverse psychology myself at those times!
Keep up the motivation.. Think about what I'm working towards and forget everything else.

Yep sure do, I did weigh myself this morning at the gym, I do go to 3 different gyms during the week and I have no scales at home so there maybe some variations, 127.8 today. Will post training later

I have a question along these lines of burning the fat with cardio.. Is there a target heart rate to shoot for during these?

So week 13 scan day today as well as training, couldn't get my scan done at the usual gym as the power was still out so drove to another one i use and did the scan and training session.

1.9 kg lose this week, 23.4kg in total which is 51.6lbs for our American cousins.
Not sure if it is the long fast or the fact we had a power outage and my sleep apnoea machine went of but felt bloody tired and training was tough, pushed through and got it done will post food later once the 72hr fast is over.

You next time shoot for a longer fast, maybe go for 5 days.

Got a lot of benefits out of that 72 hour fast.
Once you push past 24 hours, lots of good things happen.
 
Way to break a 73hr fast, would have been 72 but the wife decided to use the air fryer as I was going to cook.

the best way to break a fast is with veggie soup in the future bro @JasonM50 dont eat too much fats for first 4 hours next time, veggie soup and small amounts of lean fish but ill be real this looks hella good as a dish ;)

@JasonM50 Intense leg day followed by a solid cardio session! That 72-hour fast is ambitious – make sure you're listening to your body and staying hydrated with those electrolytes. Keep us updated on how the fast goes!

and you can do 48 weekly fasts but you're a big man no issues doing 72 hours every 2 weeks bro

Sorry all, I don't want to put a long story here, my daughter has mental health issues and Monday night through to Tuesday morning I was at the hospital with her, I won't go into details but I have let this get to me in my head and I instantly went to a food binge stress eat to compensate. I haven't trained as I have put all my time and efforts into her. I feel rough as for doing it and I could hear myself In my head but things were that bad I really didn't know what to do. Today is Thursday and I haven't eaten anything shit yet.
Never felt so hopeless or useless as I have the last few days.
Will get back on the steak today.
 
Impressive weight loss so far and great consistency. Many start - not many continue.

You posted your “before” test levels at 19 as a natty. This is actually pretty decent so it’s a bit surprising you went for TRT. I’m a big fan of TRT for older blokes but it can add a level of complexity you don’t need considering your next test levels were off the charts high.

Keto works without a doubt, but at some point it’s important to adapt to diet changes. I’d highly recommend adding in a small salad with each meal. Lettuce, tomato, avocado, feta cheese, low-carb balsamic dressing - all compatible with your keto approach but adds fibre and bulk while re-conditioning you to healthier food options.

Many people do massive fat-loss but have trouble adjusting to maintenance because they’re so used to drastic diets. If you want to grow muscle once you’ve become lean - you’ll look at reintroducing carbs. Better to be used to eating rice and sweet potato rather than pizza.

Some experienced members are continually pushing cardio - which I agree with. I notice you do it at the gym which involves a drive and a treadmill. But mate there’s nothing quicker and easier that heading out the front door and walking around your local neighborhood. Drag the missus with you. It’s great.

Stress eating and binging is what many of us will do, I have multiple clients who do this regularly.
The important thing is to get back on the program and not give up. EVO family love and support for you, don't give up. :D

Thanks Lev, it's really difficult to try and get me head around it all, like most people I'm on antidepressants and thought I was in a good place until Monday happened. Thanks for the support and I'll get back to it, will do cardio and then back to weights from Sunday

Hi all, long time no post, i have been working away and on and off training and diet.
I have managed to get my head straight again and as you guys say this is a marathon and not a sprint.
Bit of a recap at the beginning of the year i was at 149.6 Kg, i have posted my photos from today with the ones from Jan.

I will be back on Carnivore, and i have ordered a duel glycose and ketone blood monitor as no faith in the strips, will be with me in a few days.
Started the carnivore today and i have decided to do the first few days doing Sardines and boiled eggs to get me into Ketosis quickly, i had 500g of sardines and 4 hard boiled eggs, took a while to eat but managed it.
Scan is from a couple of weeks ago before i went to Japan on a work trip,

Training today went well and i have added a snip of what i did, havent added the 5min elyptical warm up and then the 30min tread mill 4 incline 4 speed.

I have attached what PEDs i have done so far this week, have placed the order for MT2 and will log that once i start taking, will give it 4 weeks then will get bloods done.

Both the kids are in a better place now, my eldest was having seizures and i had to put her in the recovery position in the hospital waiting room, was pretty full on, she now has a diagnosis and medication so i have time for myself again.

I have pulled my finger out of my arse and got back to volunteering as i am a Fire and rescue volunteer, just stopped because i got so fat and unfit and was more of a hazard than a help, next on the list is getting back to the Medieval MMA combat, have 30Kg of full plate and then beat the living hell out of each other with weapons, if i can drop another 10 Kg i think i will be in a good place for that.

Both the kids are in a better place now, my eldest was having seizures and i had to put her in the recovery position in the hospital waiting room, was pretty full on, she now has a diagnosis and medication so i have time for myself again.

I have pulled my finger out of my arse and got back to volunteering as i am a Fire and rescue volunteer, just stopped because i got so fat and unfit and was more of a hazard than a help, next on the list is getting back to the Medieval MMA combat, have 30Kg of full plate and then beat the living hell out of each other with weapons, if i can drop another 10 Kg i think i will be in a good place for that.

This is outstanding that is one impressive transformation to see those pics yet again WOW! I am psyched to see you keep going and to see your pics in just 6 months time and a year from now you won't recognize yourself. Keep that disciplined approach going and you'll have no choice but to see and be a different man yet again in a few months time!

Low carb carnivore will work magic and the fat will melt off. It worked for me. If you check my log first couple pages I went from 270 down to 190 on keto.

I love to hear your oldest child got the medication they need keep us posted on that. Also, taking back that volunteer fire position is taking back your life and your responsibilities. Good for you, your self esteem will skyrocket and I'm pumped for you! The MMA is a great idea as well just for the simple cardio of it all!
 
Hi all, long time no post, i have been working away and on and off training and diet.
I have managed to get my head straight again and as you guys say this is a marathon and not a sprint.
Bit of a recap at the beginning of the year i was at 149.6 Kg, i have posted my photos from today with the ones from Jan.

I will be back on Carnivore, and i have ordered a duel glycose and ketone blood monitor as no faith in the strips, will be with me in a few days.
Started the carnivore today and i have decided to do the first few days doing Sardines and boiled eggs to get me into Ketosis quickly, i had 500g of sardines and 4 hard boiled eggs, took a while to eat but managed it.
Scan is from a couple of weeks ago before i went to Japan on a work trip,

Training today went well and i have added a snip of what i did, havent added the 5min elyptical warm up and then the 30min tread mill 4 incline 4 speed.

Awesome bro, that's great stuff. I was carnivore too and had great success with it. Will go back to that later. I just did 8 weeks of testosterone and retatrutide and dropped about 10kg but had to shift my diet around a bit. Your volunteer job is also badass man, nice work :)

Brooo first off welcome back 🙏 it is hard ife throws us curve balls and sometimes we need our own time and focus to navigate them as best as we know.
I myself stepped away from my logging last year thinking it was for the better only to now realise having the support the evo family gives us not just with our physical progression but with the mental durability we need for day to day life also. So stick around brother let us help and be there for ya too 💙

Im glad your daughters situation has some clarity now for you all and you guys can build a plan to be able to work with it. Health situation with our kids is soo damn hard, its situations like this that we almost feel powerless as parents as we cant belp them in the way want and need to. I know everyone of us would happily trade places for our kids if we could. Believe me as a father of a son who has had, and continues to have, immense health implications his whole life i understand the heartache and stress these times can have on us as fathers.
But i promise you one thing stay on track get as healthy and be the best version of yourself as you can because then you have that to offer and be more mentally equipped with anything that comes your way. Your family needs you to be the superhero they see in you so its your privilege to make sure you are.

Lastly half a kilo of sardines 😦😦 bro your a weapon hahaha hats off to ya mate coz i sure wouldnt have it in me hahahaa... and im asian heritage 😆😆

So Sunday training and ped completed, forgot to mention i am also doing some creatine, magnesium, trying to give up the black coffee but one step at a time.
food for today was 500g of Sardines again with 4 hard-boiled eggs.
training and peds attached have ordered a Whoop as a 1 month trial so will see how that goes.
