I’ve been TRYING to get above 79 kilos since week 1. The calories keep climbing but the body decides to just keep re-comping.

Add in one massive steak every day! Worked for me.
 
I pinned 8iu of long acting basal insulin at 530am

It’s 1218 now and my insulin’s levels haven’t dropped below 5.9 nor risen above 7.9.

These are Australian units we use (mmol/l)

In American units thats 106 to 142.

I’ve got carbs and fast acting insulin on me at all times.
careful with it no matter how much you pin, insulin is no joke, really keep close eye on blood sugar @Nasser1997o2
 
You’re running way too much risk here so pull the brakes fast imo
Insulin with GH is not something you add casually and you need an actual plan imo
dont add more than 2 ius of insulin to start @Nasser1997o2

The nuance @LevButlerov is that he's running Lantus (or another long acting ester) of insulin of which 8iu is a pretty reasonable place to start.

Insulin + GH is low hanging fruit when it comes to muscle gain but ofc you do need to be careful.

1iu of GH though @Nasser1997o2 is below replacement therapy doses so may be counter-productive. Consider starting at 2iu (replacement therapy doses) and tapering up an iu each fortnight until you notice side effects (then bring it back to previous dose) or it's no longer financially sustainable.

For the most out of this you might like to keep your test levels at the top of the reference range longer on average so pinning every day if possible

Bingo. Using long acting.

I increased to 2 ius last night and my fingers have been tingling all day.

I normally do pin every day, the last couple weeks split it into 2 doses just to check PIP.

I’m back to everyday pinning.

Its probably in my head, but i definately feel bigger. Surely 2 days of insulin and HGH doesnt kick this fast. Did my now stanard protocol of 8iu's long acting slin first thing in the morning. Blood sugar was really stable all day, lowest reading was 5.3, highest was 7.2. Procress has been made super easy with the constant glucose monitor. The only downside is they only last 14 days and cost $90. My health is worth it.

Training - Legs

Was feeling SUPER strong today. Had 80g of carbs from fruit 60mins pre workout, with a non-stim preworkout. Nothing crazy. Hit a pretty decent squat for 79/80kgs.
Barbell Squats:
Set 1 - 60kg - 8 reps
Set 2 - 80kg - 8 reps
Set 3 - 100kg - 8 reps
Set 4 - 120kg - 4 reps
Set 5 - 110 kg - 5 reps
Set 6 - 100 kg - 5 reps

Stiff Legged Deadlifts - 100kg - 3 sets of 6
Plate Loaded Leg Press - 160kg - 3 sets of 10
Leg Exention Machine - 90kg - 3 sets of 10

So i pinned my 8iu slin this morning and had a meal of fruit toat:

Fat 10

My blood glucose levels jumped to 8.9, which is high for me. I decided to test the effects of cardio on BGL (blood glucose levels)

After 15 mins of walking my dog, my levels dropped to 8.4. After another 15 mins it dropped to 7.1. After another 15 mins it dropped to 6.3. After the last 15 minute period it dropped to 5.5.

I found that super interesting. Its a reminder to get your cardio in fellas (and ladies).

After 15 mins of walking my dog, my levels dropped to 8.4. After another 15 mins it dropped to 7.1. After another 15 mins it dropped to 6.3. After the last 15 minute period it dropped to 5.5.

I found that super interesting. Its a reminder to get your cardio in fellas (and ladies).
Good update and the glucose drop from 8.9 to 5.5 after the steady walking is proof that cardio makes the insulin work right. There are even studies on walking and insulin btw

Beautiful - only reason I mention potentially upping the Lantus is to try to get your BG back into that 4-5 range where you'll likely be more insulin sensitive :)

yeah i have no doubt cardio helps with blood glucose. you need it for sure. its great cardio to just get outside and do something! @Nasser1997o2

Quick little Update

So i pinned my 8iu slin this morning and had a meal of fruit toat:
Calories 364

My blood glucose levels jumped to 8.9, which is high for me. I decided to test the effects of cardio on BGL (blood glucose levels)

After 15 mins of walking my dog, my levels dropped to 8.4. After another 15 mins it dropped to 7.1. After another 15 mins it dropped to 6.3. After the last 15 minute period it dropped to 5.5.

I found that super interesting. Its a reminder to get your cardio in fellas (and ladies).
@Nasser1997o2 bros how much of that effect from the hgh and how much from the cardio? would be cool to see a graph of specs of that. cause 8iu a big dose!2
 
Nightly Update

Its probably in my head, but i definately feel bigger. Surely 2 days of insulin and HGH doesnt kick this fast. Did my now stanard protocol of 8iu's long acting slin first thing in the morning. Blood sugar was really stable all day, lowest reading was 5.3, highest was 7.2. Procress has been made super easy with the constant glucose monitor. The only downside is they only last 14 days and cost $90. My health is worth it.

This is one of the most well rounded cycles. I like no orals and you seem to have the slin in check not many mess with that.

Do you think such low a BF % came a bit from the L-Carn?
The only oral I like is Anavar at 10mg for bursts of 4weeks with 2 week breaks. I find, if it’s legit Anavar, that is plenty for me.

The L carnitine is one if my favourite things. I have been doing injectable L carnitine for years now. I think it’s a mandatory ancillary. The health benefits are endless.

I had another awesome workout today. Genuinely feel like the slin+hgh combo is a game changer. It’s like I can FEEL it. So long as I stay within a good blood glucose level, I can see this being a mainstay. I feel like I’m on way more pure milligrams of AAS since adding it in.

60mins pre workout I had my injectable preworkout, 80g of carbs and 2 serves of my stim free pump workout. My muscles felt like they were going to explode.

All day i've been getting bad leg cramps. Im definately paying for that squat PR. Im so pumped and full all day. My skin feels tight, and even though my weight is the same as when i started, i feel like i've dramatically compositioned. I wish i did a dexa scan beforehand. Im feeling like i could very easily increase my calories midweek and still be so light on sunday. I'm definately feeling the synergy between the AAS, the hgh and slin.

Training - Shoulders

I attempted to kick my dumbbells up to start my dumbbell press, and got the most gnarly hammstring cramp. I had to switch to a more lighter, higher volume session. I had so much more strength to give, but my legs were so tight. My shoulders and triceps were so ungodly pumped that it was hard to actually move. Everything felt like it was so full of blood it could pop. I was CHUGGING water, and its like it just skipped my stomach and kept filling my muscles.

Its a bladder medication that activated the beta 3 receptor in the bladder to relax the bladder so it can hold more urine. So you pee less often, but the same volume. This is great because i've been pissing constantly being this lean. Its hopefully going to allow to not wake up to pee during the night. There is lots of additional benefits for bodybuilding, and its relatively niche. Look into it boys ;)

Mirabegron is an interesting addition - definitely not something you see in most logs. If it helps with the nighttime wake-ups, that alone could improve recovery a ton, but keep listening to your body on it.

Last night I noticed that I had some swelling in my knees and feet. Pretty sure it’s the water retention from the increased HGH. It only happened at night and it’s happening again now.

My blood glucose has been super consistent, so I assume it’ll pass as my body adjusts. My fingers are definitely tingling more. @StoryOfTheProphet mentioned that would “feel” the igf1 effect you get from the slin and hgh combo. I 100% feel it.

Training
Today’s was sports cardio 1. I use the term “sports cardio” for opsec, but to be a bit less vague is combat sports. It’s not UFC (lol), but it’s within that “world”. So I hope that clears it up.

I mention that because people have asked. During today’s session someone actually commented that I looked good and that my arms were “crazy”. I am very vascular all day and it’s very noticeable. I was “honest” and said “yeah I’m on trt”, but the rest is between us EVO.

I sometimes feel bad for doing a combat sport while enhanced, against natural guys. Then I’ll get paired up with an absolute killer who beats the PEDS clean out of me. It goes to show that PEDs only don’t make for an elite athlete.

Regardless I had a good session. I felt strong as an ox and my cardiovascular output hasn’t dropped at all. I’m significantly stronger, without being slower with the same energy output.

Appetite keeps rising. In a good way. I feel hungrier in a way that feels like it’s pushing growth.

I’ve noticed a slightly increased heart rate during the night. My blood pressure has also very slightly increased. I expected this might happen with adding in the hgh and insulin and had Nebivolol and Telmisartan on hand.

I’ve added a very small amount of each as you’ll see below. Nebivolol is probably more needed, to prevent left ventricular hypertrophy. A lot of what I do is for life extension, so keeping my organs and system healthy is a top priority for me.

Obviously though, when an ancillary is no longer needed, I stop taking it, just like any PED.

Also, people don’t know that it’s super easy to get a script for Telmisartan and Nebivolol. No doctor has ever said no when I’ve asked.

Good update, man. The combat-sports bit cracked me up - nothing humbles you faster than getting paired with someone who reminds you that skill > chemistry. At least you’re honest about it and not acting like PEDs magically make you elite.

Training sounds sharp too. Staying strong without losing speed or gas is a good sign the rest of your routine is dialed in.

And good on you for actually monitoring BP/HR and thinking long-term. Plenty of people talk “health first,” but you’re actually watching your markers.

Overall, looks like things are moving in the direction you want. Keep the logs coming - it’s interesting seeing someone track everything with some awareness.

Neither - keep it consistent, moderate intake so your body isn’t bouncing between highs and lows.

Huge sodium drops can increase aldosterone and actually make you hold more water.
Huge sodium spikes can also increase fluid retention.

Consistency is what keeps water balance stable.

Nightly Update
I was curious and weighed myself this morning and was 81.1. That is a 1.5 kilo increase very rapidly. My body fat hasn’t changed at all, I don’t think. My lean mass has definitely increased.

Another combat session today. I felt super explosive and strong. I did start to cramp up however, so I might need to start drinking more electrolytes before the aggressive cardio sessions.

My sparing partners commented on my strength. It’s noticeably increased.

Nutrition
I’m getting absolutely ravenous now. The increase in calories has increased the bowel movements, so I make sure to get in a lot of fibre. Fibre as a macronutrient gets overlooked, but it’s very important for health and longevity.

Blood glucose levels still really stable. I don’t think I’ll increase the insulin unless I hit 90kg lean. I think 1 iu per 10 kg of body weight is a conservative approach.

So last night I couldn’t sit still and decided to go train legs again last night. I don’t think I was 100% recovered but I was able to train still very hard.

Today was a rest day, although I didn’t get much rest done. I was doing yard work all day. It’s gotta get done, what’s the point of a healthy body if I don’t use it.

I’ve had super bad swelling in my feet and calves today from the hgh. Hopefully this passes soon. I’m going to try elevating my legs tonight. See if that does anything

Nightly Update - Weight 82.5kg

My weight has not moved from 79kg in any meaningful way since I started this log. I weight myself normally only once a week, on Sundays, in the same conditions.

Today I weighed in at 82.5kg, an increase of 2.9 kilos from last Sunday at 79.6. Now obviously, I did not gain 2.9 kilos of lean mass, and have the below explanations:

1. Last weeks weigh in was at a different location with different scales. Could have been calibrated wrong.
2. Increased water and glycogen retention from the adding insulin and increased hgh.
3. Additional water and inflammation being held from spending the previous day spent doing yardwork.
4. Majority of my calories eaten later in the day.
5. Added mirebegron. Will expand on this later.

Even with the above, I’m still very happy to have had such a big weight increase while still being lean.

Training - Chest and Biceps

I had a pretty elaborate pre workout routine today. 30 mins before lifting a took an injectable preworkout that consisted of;
600mg L carnitine
100mg MIC blend
1mg b12
50mg ATP
2mg albuterol

I also took 2 serves of a stim pre pump preworkout and 80g of carbs. Felt amazing in the gym. I know it’s a bit overboard, but the only thing “risky” is the albuterol. That stuff does give me the shakes, but it goes away pretty quick.

Incline dumbbell press - 40kg
Flat dumbbell press - 40kg
Cable flys - machine setting 11.9kg
Chest press machine - machine setting 63kg
Dumbbell hammer curls - 17.5kg
Barbell curls - 30kg

Each workout is feeling better and better. I hope it keeps way forever 🤞

Food was a struggle today. The 200 calorie increase from 3300 to 3500 felt like a big jump. Cereal has been coming in clutch. Can’t believe how easy it is to eat 800 calories easy without even thinking. This is probably how everyone is so overweight.

I wanted to elaborate more on the Mirabegron. It’s not a super common ancillary, but I feel it has promise (if you can stomach the cost).

I stumbled on it when watching a Vigorous Steve podcast (probably while vacuuming or something). The way I understand it, clenbuterol burns fat through the beta 2 and 3 receptors. Mirabegron stimulates that beta 3 receptor in the bladder, as it’s a medication used to treat overactive bladder.

Supposedly, it would give the same fat loss benefits as clen without the heart rate increase. The issue is, that running it at its clinical dose for bladder control (50mg a day) is not expensive enough at $69AUD a month.

You would need to run 150mg a day to get the same benefits as 40mcg clen. So I think most people would just deal with the clen side effects so save the money.

Although, one benefit the podcast talked about was how it stopped them getting up to pee in the middle of the night, and they would have much better sleep. So I’ve been running the medically approved dose of 50mg and has definitely noticed the decreased frequency of urination, but I piss the same amount 😄.

Instead of getting up to pee during the night, my morning piss is so long, I wished I had sat down 😂.

I assume that another factor of my weight increase is that I literally have more piss inside me. Sleep has been absolutely stellar though.

Today was a rest day, although I didn’t get much rest done. I was doing yard work all day. It’s gotta get done, what’s the point of a healthy body if I don’t use it.

I’ve had super bad swelling in my feet and calves today from the hgh. Hopefully this passes soon. I’m going to try elevating my legs tonight. See if that does anything

Training

Even though today was a rest day, I’m absolutely exhausted from the yard work today. Below is the leg workout from last night.

Barbell squats - 100kg
Stiff legged deadlifts - 100kg
Plate loaded leg press - 160kg
Leg extensions - machine setting 104kg (the full stack)
Hamstring curl - machine setting 50kg

Felt good to train legs twice. I think I’ll make it a permanent fixture, as they are my weaker body part.

Nutrition

Wasn’t that hungry today. I think that was mostly because I was so busy and pounding water all day, working in the sun. Got all my food down still. I expect I’ll probably have to increase calories again tomorrow, as I have gain weight on the scale, but still look very lean. Who knows how much is actual tissue and how much is water and glycogen retention.

i took Saturday off and hit chest Monday. Sleep has been good with the hgh, melatonin and Mirabegron combo.

Water retention seems slightly down today. Felt super sharp all day, very productive. Been getting really good sleep lately. Everything just feels awesome, can't complain at all.

Training - Legs

I had to train super late a night, pretty close to when i normally sleep, so i didnt have the same CNS power to push heavier weight. So i opted for the same weight but just more reps and more focus on the pump and burn.

Had a Burger and fries out for dinner tonight, and had some cake, so my macros are a little whack today. I prioritise the total calories more then the macros, in all honesty. I'm not training for a bodybuilding show, so im pretty relaxed about it. You have to live a somewhat normal life.

I didn't get the same foot swelling last night, that i have been getting lately. Hopefully this means that im adjusting to the insulin and HGH combo. Woke up looking very dry, so i think the water retention must be coming down a bit.

I trained super early this morning. I think the late session the night before and the super early session this morning was a bit to close together. Still felt good, but i just didnt quite feel 100%

My appetite keeps going from high to low. It must be the Reta appetite suppression fighting the EQ appetite stimulation.

Today I was hungrier than normal, even while being very busy and mentally occupied.

Training - Shoulders and Triceps

Felt super strong again today. I added some liquid glycerol to my pre workout stack, and it definitely felt like it added more pump. I’m getting absolutely awesome pumps all the time these days regardless of what I take or don’t take.

Seated dumbbell press - 32.5kg
Seated dumbbell delt raise - 20kg
Y shape dumbbell front delt raised supersetted with Y Shape rear delt raises (leaning on an incline bench ) - 12.5kg
Standing Barbell shoulder press - 50kg
Cable tricep pull down straight bar - machine setting 50kg
Cable tricep pull down rope - machine setting 50kg
