i think your timing for labs is good. this will depend on the clearance rate/half life of your pct compounds. ideally you would wait 4 weeks after cessation of pct.

unless you are having some sort of problem you can't figure out run bloodwork atleast 2 weeks after your pct ends. keep in mind during this time you can still run test boosters and non hormonal compounds. you just need to make sure you do not have any SERM's still in your system that will interfere with your results.

A LOT of guys make the stupid mistake of running bloods while SERM's are still in their system.. it can take a week or two for them to be gone. when you do this you will get a false reading for LH, FSH and total T, and you will think you are recovered when you are most certainly NOT. recovery is only when your own body is producing LH and T on its own WITHOUT the help of SERM's, hence why using SERM's in pct are extremely overrated.

example, one client of mine ran nolva in pct. his LH was 10+ his T levels were 1000.. he was so excited because all his life he has had low T from abusing steroids in his teens and he wanted to jump back on a huge cycle after getting those results.. I told him to wait and run bloods again without the nolva in his system, he stopped the nolva.. 3 weeks later he ran bloods again and his LH was at 2.5 and his T was under 300 .. doh! so in reality the nolva was only manipulating his numbers

you can get your free T tested if you want. but what is the point? free T is a % of total T.. know what i'm saying? so really if your free T is low your total T will be low and vice versa as well 99% of the time.

its economically more smart in the long run to just get the female hormone panel for $60 before discount than spend $160 on the male hormone panel which i believe gives you free T as well.

Labcorp does offer the blood work test needed when running other androgens than Test and an AI. Look at my post right above yours. It has the test name and cost through privatemdlabs.com

Yeah I'm in MA and can't use privatemdlabs.com. The state of MA is very strict about having a drs order the lab work. I'm not even sure how health test direct is getting around it or if they actually are. I have been going to NH and refusing to show ID but it is a labcorp referral only.

Ahh missed that bro.. Yes the link you gave is the correct test for Testosterone is running multiple compounds.

I couldn't tell on my phone but does that test E2, LH, FSH ,complete Blood Panel, Metabolic Profile and all that jazz? From the description it just tests Testosterone.

not that anyone cares but already got my results back. 23 hour turnaround time is amazing imo.

when my regular trt doctor orders labs from labcorp, takes between 3-7 days. no idea why so long considering I go to the same place but it is what it is

I cant find anything called Quest besides Quest Diagnostics. There isnt anywhere to order bloodwork. That is who My HRT dr uses. I think their a testing lab like Labcorp. I tried another address in this thread but there isnt a draw lab in my area under 50miles... Maybe Ill call Privatemd tomorrow and ask them directly about the testosterone cap. Thanks again quys.

I agree with stevsmi that free t doesn't really tell us anything. I think all privatemdlabs locations are labcorp and i think all total t results are capped at 1500. I don't know this for fact. There are other lab testing referral sources that can get you into quest. Google around a bit. I have never seen quest not go >1500. I will only go to quest.

Just a n00b so I want to know if it's even worth doing it on cycle. Definitely will do after as well, but I guess if I'm not feeling weird and making gains should I not worry about it while on?

I would say it depends on your budget. the female hormone panel should be done frequently.. male you can do once or twice a year.

some guys never do bloodwork and then something that is wrong turns into a major disaster. once you start noticing something is wrong usually by then it might be too late to reverse it without drugs and even unfortunately surgery

I got the quest slip on my desk for some LC/MS Tests that will tell me test levels >1500 and I had to drop down to cruise for emergency elbow surgery and then PCT. So yeah so far so good and their website says specifically that they can do MA but I haven't yet done it. Gonna be a while.

Payrion protocol for testing is important. You need to wait at least four weeks into your cycle before getting bloodwork to allow blood serum testosterone levels to accumulate and stabilize. This will also give you a good idea how you are doing controlling your estrogen. I have always read that seven days is ideal but i never understood how this would be possible while on cycle and pinning twice a week. So next best is as many days as is possible, wait until pin day (which sounds like Wednesday for you or maybe push pin day until Thursday) and have blood drawn before you pin. This should allow you to get say 3.5 or 4 days since last pin. I know i just wasted a perfectly good ZRT blood spot kit by testing too early. I was only two weeks in and the tests can back low. Steve what are your thoughts on this?

I am sorry I do not remember your specific story but are you trying to see how your E is or how you are reacting to the gear or what?

if so I agree with maddad with long esters give it 4 weeks into your cycle to see how you are reacting

after cycle and pct wait about 3 weeks then test, testing while you have SERM's in your system will throw off your numbers

Im only getting a test total/free test done..I guess you can say a quality check...By feel Its great but I want solid numbers..Ive been on 12 weeks..Last shot was sun..I dropped the oral dbol sunday night was last dose, Im hoping its out by the time I test, I want it to only be the test/eq in my system.

Since 48 hours seems like the best time after shot I think ill shoot thursday PM then test monday PM. If I go tomorrow it will only be 36 hours.

Used them when I had no insurance deal of the century for testing $50 that one vial of gear... Lol

Anybody got cigna medical insurance? I think they'll pay 80% but not sure how to go about it beings that the test results would have to go through doc supervision

I get free blood test with my insurance but I dont want a test level of 3000 plus on my record, especially with me on TRT...lol

Got bloods done this morning. I read in an older post in this thread about showing ID. I had to have picture ID. At least at my LabCorp..no photo ID, no Bloods. I dont worry about it. She didnt record anything just made sure it matched the orders...It says 7 days on the description of the bloods I ordered. Well see..I will post up when I get results in..

usually though if you tell the lady there that your info is on the paperwork already she won't ask for ID. you are not getting drug tested for an employee, this is just blood work for your personal use.. make them understand that and they won't care about your ID

SO glad I found this thread AND this forum. Never known how to get bloodwork and I went to several doctors trying to get bloodwork, even plead with them about my gyno and saying I had low energy and anything I could think of and the best I got was a prolactin test. I'll be ordering some bloods soon before I start my cycle to see where I stand.

I spoke with them a week or so ago. You have to get the tests that are tagged with LC/MS-MS. Those take a few days longer to get the results but don't have the 1500 cap....that what I was told
