Thanks brotherA workout worthy of a Protein King! That's some impressive lifting!!
Love that bonfire pic, look so cool!
Agreed. Both Monarto and Western Plains Zoo's in Australia are classed as "open plain" zoos. They are leaders in animal conservation and actually have increased populations of endangered species. My wife is an animal loving nutcase so we will probably become members when we move to South Australia as its so close.yeah hopefully they take care of them. i don't like zoos unless they save the animals

**Strong lift today. Jump in weights.

**New addition. Need to strengthen the base of my deadlift and Squats. This will help. Easy start, will accelerate this.
GHR 4x7

Daily thoughts
So after my 400g protein day and being honoured with a Protein King badge, thought I better take it for a spin and try it out. What better way than with Box Squats.
Really wanted to push this today and 150kg was always in mind. Knees and back felt really good and I was pleased with how the weight moved.
I am starting to shift my program slowly to target my known deficiencies in the 3 main lifts. Focus is still on getting much, much leaner in the next few months but I want to get my lift targets as well.
Time to go and have a rest I think.
Much Love Evo Fam.

yes man. Australia is top notch with animal welfare. USA is lower then most 3rd world countries which is pathetic. we are pwned by the ranching and horse industry is why and the last the last thing they want is any animal lawsAgreed. Thanks brother. Reasonable mobility at best I would say. But I need to improve the bottom end so in they go. GHRs are hell especially with a proper GHR. I have had mine for nearly a decade and I still look at it with trepidation.Nice update mate!
150kg box squats are impressive!
You must have decent mobility to hit the deficit deadlifts. I used to hate them and snatch grip dead's.
GHR's are awesome as well (if you have the right machine).

Stage 1 to Photoshoot
Over the next 18 months getting to the actual photoshoot itself will take 3 distinct stages I feel:
Stage 1 - Now to end of 2026.
The longest stage but I will need all of the time available to:
*Lose all overly excess fat and get to 15%ish body fat level.
*Gain muscular size.
*Totally clean up diet.
*Ensure health remains at 100%.
*Possibly to a Powerlifting comp in Dec at below 110kg.
Stage 2 - Jan to Apr 2027. Help will be needed here, maybe even a coach.
*Get bodyfat level below 10%
*Maintain health markers
*Adjust diet as required
*Maintain size and Strength.
Stage 3 - Apr to Aug 2027.
*Get to below 6% bodyfat, competition level condition.
*Maintain Size attained by April.
* Do Photoshoot August 2027.
Something I don't log extensively is my cycle and how it is going. To update this:
Today I started using the Sustanon 250 at 175mg every 3 days. I haven't used this before and was interested to see if I noticed any discernible difference straight up. I didn't. It will interesting to see over the course of this cycle if I see any differences to using Test E which was my previous base.
The Deca is starting to get traction after 2 weeks in. Joints feel better, especially my right shoulder and left knee. Strength and siza are up. I will keep this at 100mg every 2 days until 6 March and see then if a change upwards is required along with the Sustanon.
Proviron at 25mg is just epic. Every side I had (skin issues mainly) is now non-existant or so minimal it might as well be. This will be a additive to any cycle from now.
Retatrutide 1.5mg every 3 days. This is really starting to work it's magic. Food noise is way down and fat levels are visibly reducing. Will stay on this for quite awhile as well.
So in short, Health markers are steady, Strength and size are starting to increase and bodyfat levels are slowly but surely reducing.
Overall very happy with how my cycle is tracking.
I will get a mid cycle blood test in March to ensure everything is still tracking well.
So that is where things currently stand.
Much Love Evo Fam.

Daily thoughts
I have not been enjoying what I see in the mirror. This has been the case since I went back in the gym in late December. I confess it is part of the reason the photoshoot idea and subsequent logging came about. It is not a mistake or an oversight that very few pictures of my current physical shape are being shown.
I was reading @Lh5155 log update this afternoon about his issues with body dysmorphia and it was very open, honest and raw.
Now I will say I do not usually suffer from this mindset and will get over it but there are many, many people who won't. We have chosen a lifestyle that will always have a "never quite there" mentality and whilst we will always be hard on ourselves we cannot do this to others.
I have not been a part of the Evo Family for a long period of time but in the time I have been I absolutely love it. The logs people write are a big part of that. It is pushed on people to do logs so that they can track their progress, but what these logs can do is change other people's lives. By writing in your own log open and honest happenings that may well resonate with someone else reading it. This can create change.
The Evo Family is fantastic at supporting each other and sometimes by being honest, open and a bit vulnerable in your log you may help someone without even realising it. That said still won't be putting up a pic for a bit

Thanks @Alice_In_Ironland for the kind words. It can be such a insular lifestyle, but most people on Evo actually understand that. By supporting each other on Evo through the good and the bad it can only make the lifestyle just a little more balanced.Thank you for always being open & honest on here
This lifestyle makes us hyper fixate on our flaws, and we quickly lose sight of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown because of it (not just the physical).
Just ease into it bro, even if you’re unhappy with how you’re looking at the moment. Everyday you’ll improve in the recomp. While you’ve got some good gear to facilitate a quick change, the reality is it’s only been 2 months or even less. I know for me im feeling like im not changing especially with my weight. But if I get a dexa im the same weight but muscle percentage has gone up. We’re our own harshest critic. Give it six months and you’ll love what you see. You’ve got the support and the experts to help on the journey aswell!6th February log update

My most humble thanks brother. What can I say, made my day reading this.Brother... Just catching up on the past couple days of your log.
The ruminations and detail are top tier.
Your log is honestly one of the very best and a favorite of mine.
If I can be as active and into the lifestyle like you in my future years I'll be blessed.
I've got some proviron on the way after our last chat and I reckon it'll be the instrument that lets me control the mental side of NPP and i'll be able to run it again in my push.
Logs help us put the little pieces together to our own puzzles while we follow the progress of others.
Your progress is absolutely showing. Loving the protein king badge too my bro. I find mixing whey protein isolate and collagen into bone broth is an easy method of grabbing 100gms while on reta (in fact imma go n slam one now cos now I'm chasing a protein badge too because you've inspired me)
I love the travel pics and insights.
I hope you start feeling more comfortable in your skin, and liking what you see, sooner rather than later. Because from what I see you're a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with weapon.
I would love to hear you talking about your life and experiences on the poddy some day hey.

Daily thoughts
Nothing really exciting today except getting a ton of shopping for meal prep day tomorrow.
So after reading a few log and interaction posts today I had a thought:
Why do people who embrace the lifestyle we are in do what we do? More importantly why do YOU do it?
I will obviously elaborate.
I started in gyms when I was 16, have used it football, self belief, girls, powerlifting, awful attempts at body building and most importantly for me, my mental health. I will never stop lifting but last year I found it so much harder to get my gym work done. Recovery was poor, lifts were average and it was a real chore to do.
A blood test showed my T levels were very low due to mostly my age and this was part of the problem. I read up on TRT and despite my total fear of pins decided it was something I needed to do at least once.
I actually was introduced to Evo first, followed some logs, totally resonated with what was being written by you delightful people and ultimately took the plunge.
Obviously after starting on TRT and feeling so much more clear, focused, energised and all together better, I figured WTF might as well try some more stuff. And thus here we are.
Why did I take the next step? To be the very best I can be with no limits. I don't do this for anyone else but myself and wouldn't try to influence anyone else's choice either.
On Evo I have found a community that I really have belonged to my entire life, but couldn't find outside 4 gym walls. The pins, PEDs and other exotic concoctions are a benefit but not the reason I am here. This Evo Fam is so much more than that.
So think about it, really think about it, and answer only to yourself, honestly:
Why do you do it?
Much Love Evo Fam.

Daily thoughts

I will separate the chicken thighs and steak into manageable portions and figure that out on the fly. More than likely I will BBQ or air fry them.Very nice meal prep/ grocery haul!
What’s planned for the meal preps for the week?
Chicken thigh is so tasty! But I don’t often see it used much in fitness/ bodybuilding circles. Same with pork for some reason![]()
Well captured mate, it’s great you are so well grounded and in touch with your thoughts and reasonings behind why you do why you do! Well for me, I largely started mine through shame of how I felt and looked and while im not where I want to be yet, my confidence has gone leaps and bounds because I know where im headed and the added youthful energy you get from being a more healthy weight and an increased testosterone gives me more zest in every aspect of life!7th February log update

Thanks brother. Food morning in abundance tomorrowAnother great update brother.
No one talks much about andropause or peri-andropause hey. This is why I jumped on. T levels tanked and not headed anywhere but lower. Depression, malaise and absence of drive were my factors.
I hope you enjoyed your off day and got some good rest and relaxation in after your shopping. Costco does my head in
Looking forward to some food pics![]()
Thanks brother. I get a lot of help from my Evo brothers and sisters without whom I would be flopping around quite a bitAbsolutely loved this update brother! So wholesome!!
Looking at the way you set up your log and your pictures, you seemed like a seasoned vet with the PED's but I was so surprised that much of it is still pretty new to you. I salute you for taking this path at your age! Much love and respect!!
I look forward to seeing some of the meals your going to put together with that food prep haul!

Really productive day today.
Training was really in the groove and my cycle is starting to kick into gear in week 4.
Losing some of the excess body fat I really need to and gaining muscle again and strength. I will update a pic set in early March for comparison.
Meal prep was great today (pics below). Managed to sort a few days worth out so I feel I am on the front foot for the week.

**Bit too easy but I will stick with the program.

Daily thoughts
Really productive day today.
Training was really in the groove and my cycle is starting to kick into gear in week 4.
Losing some of the excess body fat I really need to and gaining muscle again and strength. I will update a pic set in early March for comparison.
Meal prep was great today (pics below). Managed to sort a few days worth out so I feel I am on the front foot for the week.
Here is to a good week for all.

My exact thought @Alice_In_IronlandAwesome! Pre-cutting meat/ veg is a huge time saver. Having everything ready to go and throw into a pan doesn’t take much longer vs re-heating food (and tastes much better/ fresher).

Much Love Evo Fam.

Alpacas and no they spit at each other![]()
Seems to balance everything brother. I certainly have no e2 issues and at present my set up just works for me. At the end of the cycle I will reassess, discuss it with a few of my Evo brothers and Sisters and build a cycle again. My present scenario is if it ain't broke......Nice looking log mate, just wondering in your ped set up what provirion brings to the table. Is it just to help lower your shbg and counteract some of the watery mess associated with Decca?
Yes they do actually. How do they get along,Do they spit at your horse too?

Today was a chore quite honestly. Never got into the day well and wanted to be anywhere but at work.
Probably why my mind kept drifting to retirement in 2027 and moving. Reading @princedaddys log that mentioned it got me drifting that way to.
For the younger Evo brothers and sisters this is a foreign idea, but some of us more mature contributors it is actually a thing. For me personally it is a very real thing. I admit this will be the third time I will actually do it (2022 and 2024 before), but I am well prepared this time.
I am well placed to do it as I have plenty to occupy my time and mind which is vital. Evo was the final missing piece for me. I can now have a strong body and a free mind to concentrate on more ethereal pursuits.
Lifting, golf and travelling to do both of these all over the country and world is the aim. You add Evo logging, reading what is interesting and increasing my knowledge base in this and who has time for work.
Anyway, for now I have to be content with just drifting there....but soon.....

Daily thoughts
Much Love Evo Fam.

Training was really in the groove and my cycle is starting to kick into gear in week 4.
Losing some of the excess body fat I really need to and gaining muscle again and strength. I will update a pic set in early March for comparison.

Bros, I hear ya. For sure last night I had to get up in the middle of the night to go do a plumbing job. It really sucks. Back feels really good today so the call was160kg for shrugs? Jesus bro, you should consider Olympic lifting. That’s crazy heavy! Nice responsible lifting with your back aswell. With all the those accrued reps im sure the heavier reps wouldn’t have done you much good physically even if you nailed it.
How many acres are you man? Your setup looks majestic, I’m saying that I grew up on a farm and know it’s more than a full time job but a lifestyle for sure![]()

Narrow pulldown 3x12x45kg
**Controlled stretch, strict form. Bit easy
Daily thoughts
First deadlift session for over 6 weeks. I did 170kg last time, barely. Here is how it went, lift by lift:
60kg - 3 reps for warm up
80kg - Same as above.
100kg - First single, testing all my joints
120kg - Nice and easy no issues
140kg - Easier than expected.
160kg - belt on loose, really fast off floor. Surprised me.
180kg - Today's written goal. Fast off floor, heavy but not a hard lockout. Jarred a little when I put it down. Dammit!!

I was so tempted to go for 200kg, even loaded up, but the slight niggle in my back was a concern. I actually listened to my own advice for once and stopped. My lower back and knees will need a bit more time to get used to these loads again. Marathon not a sprint. After all it has been about 5 years since I have fully trained this way....properly.
Will get it next time.

Yeah I know at some stage I will have to walk a few hundred metres or so.....Lol you can do some cardio you big baby. You're gonna have to if you wanna hit your big goals.
Those monolifts look awesome. So compact. We've been waiting for them to finally sell in North America since last year. Keeps getting delayed.
What other goodies you got in there?
I see the ironmaster bench. That's a sweet one.

if looks awesomeYeah I know at some stage I will have to walk a few hundred metres or so...... I'm going to look at ellipticals at some point since my knees do not take too much pounding well.
Monolift is fuckingbro. I have GHR, leg press, pull-down, and yes the ironmaster.
I need the jammer arms and the belt squat you can attach to the rack. Then I will be done......for a month or 2. Purchasing stuff for the gym is like a sick addiction, just can't stop

Physically I feel good today. My back is fine from deads due to stopping when I did, so I am really quite pleased with myself for that. Live to lift another day.
I have been mulling over changes to my program by adding a day back and making it high rep shoulders on their own.
This will allow me to add back ext and good mornings in on back day and legs day respectively after moving the shoulders in their currently.
More to come on that one.
