We are creator's of our own happy place. Change in that place is a head trip. Especially if you have CDO it is just not "right" feeling at all. Seems to alter the feeling to an anxiety. You are most definitely the food king 🤴🙌 I can eat the same stuff all the time. If I change it up that feeling kicks in 🫥

This really resonates. So many people stay stuck because the familiar feels safer than the unknown, even when the current path is clearly not serving them. Failure isn't the end, its feedback. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is to allow ourself to begin again - and continue moving forward.

Sometimes, stopping is way too hard. It's like the dilemma of the moth that sees a light and want to be consumed by it, either it be the light of the moon, or a bulb. The flight of Icarus, soaring to the clouds and then beyond to the sun... however, flying too low can be compliance as well...
Only if Cato the younger (a great stoic) knew when to ease off a little bit, he would have done far more for the glory of his nation. I guess I am guilty of letting my emotions get the better of me at times. However, I try and reflect back, make amends if possible and if not, I move on hoping that I will act differently and more logically if something same comes along again.

I know exactly what you are saying. But to be devil's advocate, Icarus was smiling when he died...

but, it's in all of our interests to learn to control ourselves as you mentioned.

Okay today is Chest, Tri’s, abs and light cardio.
This morning was a bit of an experiment.
I tried a couple of things to make sure that I won’t be doing them.
Tried Smith Machine Incline, it is not happening, my shoulder did not like it.
Tried light Dumbbell incline, the angle of bringing the weights to the ready…it isn’t happening.
One handed I can, because I can use both hands to get the position and get the weight set in the up position.
Are one handed DB incline presses effective??

So Hammer Strength Machines and cable flys is what things will be.

Chest
Hammer strength pin loaded incline
I increased the weight a bit. 70lbs each side will be it for a minute. Was getting shoulder grind

45lbs x 20
50lbs x 16
60lbs x 10
70lbs x 8
60lbs x 10
50lbs x 11
40lbs x 17

HS pin loaded flat bench machine

50lbs x 10
60lbs x 9
70lbs x 5 ouch the crunch.
60lbs x 8
50lbs x 8
40lbs x 15

Incline Cable flys. It was awkward but totally doable

12.5kg x 120
I did 4 sets 30 reps each

Abs
BOX V-Ups
3 x 30 did each set in between cable flys sets

Tri’s

Single arm reverse pushdowns
25kg 4 x 15

V-grip pushdowns
35kg x 15
42.5kg 2 x Amrap

Rope pushdowns
30kg 3 x Amrap

Trial and error will bring you to what you can do! I spent a month doing this with my shoulder stuff and found the movements that work. I stay very far away from the ones that didnt!

One handed can work, balance is an issue. If you are going heavy it will be hard with a bunch of weight on one side. Stick with the machines and keep after the stretches and warm ups!
Never curse the rain for its beeing, enjoy the moment as it will pass soon as a good memory.🤙

Checked in for dawn patrol and all is well.
Did some stretching, did some @James Creeper stretches and it felt great!
I was prepared for legs today but realized Inhad completed 3 days of grind and today was a cardio day. So I stuck with that.
Legs tomorrow!! I am going to blast them.
Today, I am going to move some freight, and for personal stuff, I am going to read and study and practice controlling myself and letting everything else go.
Today will be a great day!!
