Hey everybody, hope you're all well.
Bit of a lurker, made an account a bit ago, but decided to finally start posting and getting to know everyone here. Originally joined just so I could the forum posts and soak up all the knowledge the forum seems to have, seems like a really close knit community here I'd like to be a part of, so here I am!

25 y/o 6'0" and 228 lbs. @14-15% bf. I usually get a bodpod test done monthly and a Korr Metabolic test as well.

I've only been non-natty for about a year and a half now. Currently finishing up my 3rd cycle. I have run Test E @500 mg per week, Test P @600mg per week, and my current cycle (today was last pin actually) of Test P @600mg and NPP @600mg per week. I think I could've done quite a bit more if I had 100% dialed in my nutrition like I currently have done (thanks to help from here and a few other places of doing research).

Current goal is to cut down to 6-8% bf and hopefully around 200-205 lbs. or so. I've been training for about 7 years now or so.

Looking forward to learning a lot more from everyone and I hope that I can start contributing and helping others one day. Thanks for all the good info so far. Hope to get to know everyone! ^^

welcome to the evo family brother....

Thanks man! Happy to finally be a part of it after hiding in the shadows for so long haha.

Welcome to the board!

Getting down to a genuine 6% body fat is not an easy task. You need to be meticulous with your diet and training. Anything below 8%, your body will really start to fight you.

Your best option is carbohydrate cycling. Give this article I wrote a read if you want a sample meal plan and some ideas on how to structure your diet: http://www.evolutionary.org/forums/...n-program-article-trevor-kouritzin-32850.html

Thank you so much. I know this game is 99% nutrition, especially as far as fat loss goes. I've been working with a couple nutritionist and observing metabolic fluctuations as well as monthly metabolic test. I am actually currently carb cycling as well. I will read your article right now as it never hurts to learn more. Thanks again!

Welcome to Evo, Glad you started to join in since you have been a member for quite some time. The last time I was at a true 6-7 percent BF Life sucked, one little minor slip up and it seemed like you lost a weeks worth of training. Do you plan on competing ?

Oh dang that's gonna suck haha. I do want to compete at least once just to say that I did it. I am involved in the medical field as a medical provider and don't plan on trying to make a career out bodybuilding or anything because I'll be sticking with my current job and lifestyle. But as a guy who used to be morbidly obese (310+ lbs and 30%+ bf) I'd like to know that I was able to get to a level worth a shit, even if only for a short time.

Would you say 10% or so would be maintainable year round? I know 6% is obviously not. But I was hoping somewhere around 9-10% would be, barring seasons of mass addition where I consume the most food and obviously need to be in a surplus.
