Anyone here have a torn labrum?

Chronic shoulder dislocation is very much different in pathology than a torn labrum or SLAP tear. Athletes have about an 85% full recovery and return to play status post-op SLAP tear. Not so much for dislocations. SDR1014....this is what you should except: 1) surgery 2) PT (12-16 weeks) 3)...

Anyone here have a torn labrum?

Every surgeon is different, every surgery is different as well as recovery. Ask your docs these questions for the only real answers. If surgery and recovery go well, you should be able to lift as you would. You should not be doing overhead presses, that's a post-op protocol for any surgeon.

    Real question about GW

Spyder, In a 55kg female, what would be the reccomended dose/day, conservatively, to start at? I would assume 20mg/day? Are there any noticable side effects that would become if you are running at too high mg?

    Real question about GW

Great post Spyder! I have not read anything that put it in that perspective. The proper dose would be bw 10-20mg/day to avoid the cancer side, but anything less than 20mg/day may not achieve the physiological function.

    Real question about GW

Well, thanks for the smartass remark. But please reread my question. I get it. I've done it. Let me clarify. I did search this forum extensively. I also searched Google and many other forums. All searches leads back to Evo. I am asking for if there is any 'scientific' research; not word of...

    Real question about GW

I posted a question and gotots of answers about helping a lady cut weight. I was informed to go with GW over clen. I did a lot of research about it and it sounded good. I placed the order but did not stop researching. I did not come across much scientific research-based information as I did just...

    how to get PT certification?

Certified and qualified are not correlated. Your clients care if your qualified. Your employer will care if your certified and qualified. Certifications are over emphasized imo. Everyone has some BS certification. As everyone said above, just get certified and worry more about your skill and...

Healing process of a torn pec muscle

If you went to the ER, I would expect they would have taken an MRI or CT before they discharged you, that would have been standard protocol. The gap you notice won't re-connect by hoping it does, it will just form scar tissue and alter your biomechanics of shoulder range if motion. If it's a...

    Advice for a woman!

thanks for the advice! You touched on a good point that might effect a decision. And again, this is not for me, this is for a 33 y.o., 5'6" 135lb woman. She has a history of 5 knee surgeries including a torn ACL and bilateral meniscectomys leaving about 25% of the meniscus right and left side...
