Getting my checkin video tonight, we'll be going over changes to Training plan, nutrition and PEDs to accommodate for the recovery and use this time as effectively as possible
bros you looking like you been through the ringer lol. hopefully you make full recovery. i want to follow this. @willipede keep us updated on how you feel

Shoulder mobility has improved a massive amount over the last couple of years which has been great.

Still need to work on supination of the wrists. I'm sure this will all improve with my physio and rehab work once I get to that stage.

I actually just started mat pilates again, will be going back once a week after a bit of recovery
yes man mine got super bad. i know all about it. i grew so fast and put on so much strength that i shot myself in the foot. i learned my lesson the hard way

damn dude that is a brutal injury. those nerve issues are a pain in the ass @willipede hopefully the procedure helps keep us informed

Already not having any nerve pains or sensation in that arm. They are an absolute c*** of a thing having nerve pain.

Getting my other elbow and wrist done in 4-6 weeks

bro you look like you were in a fight lol @willipede i think for sure injury from too much fapping. same happened to son

This 100% a fapping related injury, you should see the other guy 😂

I think its around 5-6k Aud, but this was all covered by insurance

It works systemically as an anti inflammatory as well as accelerated wound healing.

Have seen it in a few oral gut healing formulas, this is my first time trying it as an injection.

Ive had next to no swelling or pain from the surgery and havent needed any pain relief what so ever. I am using it in conjunction with bpc, tb and ghk-cu though but has been fantastic so far

@willipede how long is the recovery on this? Praying you get a full recovery quickly

Apparently can be up to 8 weeks to get back to physical labour job or after 3 weeks on very light duties.

I'm actually already feeling an improvement in function, stitches will come out in 10 days.

Just been resting at home, nothing strenuous and getting all my meals in.

hope you can do some infrared lamp work on the site to help this a bit before the surgery.

That's wild, I'm covered under workers insurance as it's all repetitive strain injury from 10 years of manual labour

That is extortion, real shame about your healthcare and health insurances over there.

All up to have both sides done it was going to cost me around 15-20k plus having atleast 2-3 months off work, not including any rehab/physio

I dont think ill ever be able to work a physical job like that again though, I think the risk of reinjury would be too high for me.

yes and if you don't pay your hospital bills they send you to collections who can legally harrass you until you pay. you are lucky!

@willipede physio whats up with the arms how bad?
anavar you planning to bump to 25?

Just had surgery for ulnar nerve and carpal tunnel.

Still got to go back in to do the other arm as I fucked both of em with 10 years manual labour.

Have had to alter my training for the last 2 years to accommodate, so it's nice to finally get back on the road to recovery.

Been wearing splints every night on both hands. Physiotherapy twice per week & exercise physiology once a week for the last year with no improvement.

Lots of dry needling, deep tissue massage, nerve glides and exercises but it's only managed symptoms not fixed anything

After this is all sorted I can really crack in to get ready for a run in Classic Physique 2026

anavar you planning to bump to 25?

I've just added the 12.5mg but hadn't spoken to coach yet.

I'll see what he thinks is best for me and my goals.

Is there much repair & recovery difference going from 12.5 to 25mg?

I just thought keep things lowest effective dosages of everything while I'm in this stage

Went into see the nurse today to see if these stitches were ready to come out.

Dr was very impressed on healing time for incisions. Stitches in the elbow have all been pulled, ones in the palm will be left a couple more days as they have a tendency to separate.

Still limited ROM at this stage will, pain has been minimal and functioning better than I expected

KPV feeling like this has added benefits to the stack, ive used bpc,tb,ghk stack atleast 5-6 times with past injuries and this is the best I've felt recovery.

Obviously only anecdotal but I think its worth adding in again in the future

Arguably I'd wanna see docs prescribing this if it worked as well as we think and ask why they don't. Could that be a healing too quick thing? Thinking out loud here

Well they recently made bpc-157 prescription only in aus I think july last year.

Docs will not prescribe it here, unless you go to a clinic and pay exorbitant prices.

I dont think the pharmaceutical companies have our best interest at heart, America has recently made attempts to shut down our pbs scheme that negotiates drug prices with those companies

Obviously those on the front line have good intentions but are limited with the tools they can use.

I think its up to us, to do our own research and take control of our own health. I think adults should be able to make there own health decisions at there own risk.

I've been in and out of doctors and specialists my whole life and rarely has any of that helped me, it wasn't until I started taking things into my own hands that things started getting better

The nerve sensations have already reduced, hopefully fully dissapear once its all healed l

He just said use the other arm for a while. I just on my hand for 10 mins so it goes numb then it feels like a stranger is doing it

Got stitches pulled a couple days ago, just got steri strips on there for a bit they can probably come off soon too.

Surprisingly didn't hurt at all, it hurt more before the surgery

Going very well at this stage, issue shouldn't reoccur as im not in that industry anymore or doing lots of manual labour
yeah i can imagine what you put your body through

First day back

Had a bit of a play around in the gym today, bit of a lower session plus a bit of cardio outside today

Leg Extension 2x8 @140kg
Seated Leg press pin loaded 2x12 @200kg
Lying Hamstring curl 2x10 @100kg

Did some cardio in a weight vest for a couple of kms
Good gentle way to get back into training.

Physique Progress 12 weeks with Coach
Just had a check in with @AE1079 he pointed out the progress I've made with him over the last 12 weeks since starting with him

Powered by the Gold Standard @Liquid Gold Labs 🪙
Starting with a health/priming phase then into a mini bulk/blast, even while going under 2 surgeries im extremely proud of the results and what ive achieved so far!!!

91kg in both of these pictures
Eating more than ever. With the guidance of AE i was able to lean out, whilst gaining muscle on more food than ive ever consistently eaten. We really did speed up my already fast metabolism

Also recovered from both knee injuries with his training style and am now able to train lower with intensity

I just read your log from page 1 til here...wow what a journey. Sorry to hear about the complications after the first surgery, sounds like this recent one went a lot smoother. Physio is key. You get back what you put in. No pain no gain with physio.

Looking amazing bro. Considering how much time you've been stuck in rehab mode your physique has really held up.

You haven't talked much about the reta in the last 10 pages or so lol. You still running it?

@BeMe Thanks for stopping by, the most recent surgery felt like a walk in the park in comparison.

Post op physio starts next week, its good to be on the mend again.

Really been nailing the diet, plus @Liquid Gold Labs gear and AE to coach me has really kept me together plus staying as consistent as possible trying to get a step closer each week to my goal of competing.

Thanks for the compliment bro, I've really put my everything into this for the last 3 months so I'm happy with the results I've gotten so far

I actually dropped the reta completely after a little while, once we increased the cals It was too suppressive on my appetite even under 1mg per week.

The purpose of the reta was to help keep lipids in range and stay lean on bulk but I think that's happening without it anyway

I recently got regular general bloods done and no call back or out of usual results from doctor so I'm expecting everything in range, will get a print off when I see the doc next.

That all sounds like great news too me. It's all about getting the most outta your body while putting in the least right.

Hopefully your physio goes great and NO MORE SURGERIES! Nothn but big gains from here til the stage

Heading towards recovery. Unfortunately still got 2 more surgeries to go over the next 2 months

Then just got to work my ass off to get onto the stage, praying for big gains 🙏

Got to do right ulnar nerve transposition, then right carpal tunnel decompression. Same as my recent surgery

But this time wants to do them separately as my ulnar nerve was severely flattened and it was a quite difficult surgery.
Damn that's tough. Your a pro at this point tho lol. I've had 6 surgeries on my right side so I feel for you bro. It's funny how after a while it just becomes petty routine.

You're in oz right? You guys have public healthcare like we do in Canada right?

If you were American these surgeries could cost you a fortune

Thats rough brother, hahaha I am getting pretty used to going into hospital now but so excited for the day I'm all done with this

Yeah in Aus, through workers insurance as it's all work related injury so thankfully it's all covered, surgery, medication, physio ect. as well as still getting some wages to pay bills

That's good bro. Well if you were able to stack up this much through injury, surgeries, and recoveries imagine what you're going to do when you're all good to go. Gonna be fun to follow!

Update first upper session post surgery 🥰

Started physio yesterday, they were happy for me to get some movement going through the elbow and wrist as it was a little siezed.

First couple sets felt like nerves were flossing up and down my arm, but after that and warming up actually felt much better.

No pain other than that during the session or post session. Really happy how it's gone, I'll post my workout later tonight

Slow but strong rehab. :D @willipede can you do cardio?

Been just doing the regular steps, and bit of incline on the treadmill.

Coach has added a conditioning day once per week which looks like it will really test my cardio

@willipede the weight training is outstanding. good job on that. i want to see you keep the consistency

It's been great to be back, 3 sessions so far this week. Quads and back yesterday

rehab session looks good! Keeping the weights pretty strong. But all so keeping them low
Looking really good.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much weight I could move straight away.

Everything is feeling a bit better now that I'm doing these light/moderate training sessions

Good stuff man! It’s been a long time since I’ve done box jumps, don’t think my knees would enjoy them anymore 😂

Training Update: bit of training from the other day, legs and calves pretty sore from that conditioning day, they're definitely not used to that kind of stimulus yet.

Back day

light back session done.

Shoulder Day
Really good shoulder session from yesterday, challenged me but I can feel it's good for my rehab

View attachment 107560
@willipede I like your shoulder day, not too heavy and steady :D

Can't do a chin up as ive just had surgery, could probably have done really light on the dumbbell row.

But again trying not to over do it as I come back to working out.
What about straps for the dumbbell rows? Would that help work around your recovery?

Got some lifting straps, they definitely help but was still having a little difficulty on the back session late last week.

Definitely feel like I've already come a long way since then.

Fingers crossed on my next session I'll be able to my full back day with a higher intensity, minus the chin ups

Ya chinups would be way to risky at this point for you. Step by step bro, keep listening to your body!

Don't be afraid to get creative too. New ways to do movements working around the problem, or use lighter weights with intensity techniques.
