my trainer said that i shouldn't take dex with protein shake after a workout cause it will cause my insulin to spike that will make me gained bad mass. he recommended instead to take amino acids rigt after a workout THEN take a protein shake after. what u think?
the key after a workout is your body recovering. the ironic thing is slamming a dex shake actually runs counter to that because now your body has to digest all that processed unnatural crap you just put into it.
I'm not a fan of carb supplements. It can develop into a habit that will just make you fat in the end. After you train, no rush, just go home and cook real food.
