    BCAA's protect muscle?

So my question is do you think that amino acids are more effective at protecting your muscles when you jog if you take BCAA or EAA. Also the want to know how much amino acids you should take to properly protect your muscles when jogging and if you take them b4 or after or both! Should you take more if you weigh more ext... what are you're thoughts?

You don't need anything to protect your muscles from jogging. Unless your running marathons or something, cardio is not going to effect your gains or cause any muscle wasting.

But for jogging? Nah. Minimal at best. Not even close to a hard leg workout.

Most supplements are nothing more then marketing. I do take BCAA but just because its cheap and I do feel it helps grind thru my workouts but for running, why bother.

I feel like BCAAs are a bit of a meme. If youre drinking any kind of protein (virtually everyone is I imagine) you will get them from there and if your diet is at least OK, you will get plenty as well.
