    BCAAs best dose?

    What is the best dosage of BCAAs you can take to ensure you recover and grow muscles from a workout my goals are to put on 10 to 15 lb of muscle over the next year.
    I got on a workout program and it's just a matter of getting some supplementation to get things rolling

    BCAA's in the western world are a flat out scam and anyone selling them knows it but they keep pushing then anyway

    you get MORE THAN enough in your average american diet and you get in excess of 15X you need in an average bodybuilder diet.

    adding more does 2 things. 1. drains your wallet and 2. hurts repair and recovery in the body

    the studies actually show that amino acids

    Decreases protein synthesis
    Increases protein breakdown
    Interferes with the absorption of amino acids

    wowsers. stay the hell away from this crap, go eat an egg instead

    I don't like BCAAs personally, rather drink a protein shake so like 40 grams of protein 2 scoops protein shake with 2 tbps of peanut butter thats what I would take with n2slin.

    BCAA are not going to add 10-15lbs of muscle to your frame my man. You need to eat and train for that. Nothing will ever replace real food.

    That study was done with BCAA's without any other aminos available. Aminos must be in the essential complex to have protein synthesis -- much like B vitamins , which must be in the comples to be bioavialabe. But additional BCAA's most certainly can have benefit. As far as the best dose" there's no such thing. It's a supplement Extra. More. That's it.
