When I lift, I lift bigtime. I am usually not even able to walk home after the gym so I usually find myself asking for a ride or taking the bus home. my recovery seems to lag more and more as I age and the next day I am dragging bigtime at the gym. what are the best things you use to help you recover?
 
Rest is most important and knowing when you need an extra day off from the gym or even a de-load week with light weights. If you continue to hammer like that you will ruin your joints.
 
If you can't walk home after a workout thete is something wrong. Possibly overtraining because you say you aren't recovering properly either.
 
the best supplement would be SLEEP. so to help you sleep better the less things you throw at your body the better.

what helps you sleep better? nutrobal, n2sleep, staying away from stims, etc

Yeah, sleep. That’s when the body regenerates and heals. And start training smarter. Father Time catches up with us all
