I am a college athlete, who constantly struggles with the balance between intensive sport schedules and intensive academic schedules, while trying to maintain my social life. Therefore I find myself tired and worn down often, which causes me to get sick very frequently. When I am sick, my workouts, athletic performance and academic performance all struggle. This causes me to enter a vicious cycle of sub-par workouts, unmotivated stretches and a decrease in productivity (keeping me tired and sick). I was curious if there are certain foods, daily vitamins, supplements or anything I can take that will keep me focused and productive, but also healthy.
