difference between cell tech and nitro tech

I'm a hard gainer and tried protein and muscle milk for months and couldn't put more than 2 pounds in months, somebody told me to take either cell tech or nitro tech, I would like to ask you which one is better for weight gain and what's the difference between them, thank you.

First off, gaining 2 pounds per month is a pretty much perfect amount! Think about it. In a year that would be 24 pounds. Building muscle is a slow process. If you gain weight too fast, you are just going to be getting fat.

Neither cell tech or nitro tech are bad products but they are very over priced for what they are. Cell tech is a nothing more then creatine and glucose. Nitro tech is a whey protein supplement. You could get the exact same thing for a lot less money by purchasing generic version of each. You are paying a lot of money for the muscle tech brand name and all the marketing behind cell tech and nitro tech.

When purchasing supplements the brand isn't particularly important. What matters is the ingredient list and supplement facts panel.

For a wheyprotein - you want to see nothing but that in the ingredients list. Wheyprotein, natural flavours, a natural calorie free sweetener like stevia and then maybe some salt, soy lechitin and cocoa powder. There are a lot of good products on the market. I personally use isolation from n2bm.com. A good whey isolate should be pretty much fat and carb free. Isolation has 26g protein, 1g carb, 0g fat per 30g scoop.

For a creatine supplement - get either a bulk creatine monohydrate powder or a capsulated creatine product like ancient strength from n2bm.com

Products will not cause you to gain mass.....not even steroids. To gain mass you need a proper diet and training routine. Focus there and add in supplements to fill gaps in nutrition.

For a natural guy the best supplements to use are creatine and a good pure whey isolate. I would also be taking fish oil.

The key is to not shop by who is on the container or by brand but to shop by ingredients. Just for reference below are the ingredients for NitroTech and for N2BM's protein. It is clear how much better N2BM products are!

putting on muscle takes time. you can't expect some product to magically add muscle. you need to lift and eat right first.

if you just want to gain a bunch of weight then just hit the buffet 5X per day and be a couch potato, but that isn't what we want.

cell tech is a carb/creatine product, whereas nitro tech is a whey product, but its not as good in quality as it could be. The tastes are pretty good, but in terms of % and purity, its quite trash
