does HMB work?

been thinking of getting some bulk HMB powder to use as a muscle gainer, does it even work? as i was reading it worked in a lab but didn't work on people like bodybuilders this true? in here sweden we only have hmb maybe because its not effective
 
I ran an HMB-fa product for three months, took about a month to notice anything. No notable strength or endurance gains, no notable size gains. I did note decreased DOMS, but that's about it. If you can get the bulk powder for dirt cheap, it might be worth it just for that.

I think it's not really worth it in my opinion. As others have said, nobody really notices any benefit, despite what "studies" claim
 
honestly, i started to use it a few months ago and i have noticed some benefits from it... it does help to utilize protein... the only reason i started it was because we ran out of stock of the product GEAR... while HMB does work, its nowhere near as effective as GEAR is bro... it will be back in stock soon, so if you want to save money and time, wait for that as it will be quite more effective for you...
 
I've never used it but I'd def be interested to hear others opinion on this.
 
I would use Gear instead.. Awesome supplement that actually produces results for me.
 
It must not be too awesome or it would be more well known i think. I'm sure it has it's merits as Dylan said but i think i actually used a bottle from prime nutrition once and didn't really notice anything drastic, i don't think it's supposed to be drastic so who knows. Either way i dont think it's worth buying personally. Much better stuff around like Gear as Dylan mentioned or even just an amino supplement with all 9 essential aminos in it would probably be a better bang for your buck than HMB. Just my $.02
 
HMB on a bulk is likely useless, on a cut it helps a lil being anticatabolic, I run HMB with clen when cutting
 
Personally when I was natty it made a difference. But then I started AAS and put them to the side. Now I just stick with the basic supplement stack.
