    I did the whole 'looking shit up' back in the day. It's purely conditional.

    If you are on a normal high protein diet you do NOT need it.

    If you're on a restricted diet then it MIGHT be useful.

    Any half decent protein powder (esp the Whey based ones) will have more than enough Glutamine (as Glutamic acid). Typically 100g of whey protein has 18g of Glutamic acid.
