somebody recommended me to take omegas to lower cholesterol but it's still after months of taking them, what other supplements help with high cholesterol? thank you.

The best thing you can do to lower cholesterol levels is to follow a cholesterol friendly diet - low in saturated fats and refined sugars, and high in omega 3 fatty acids -
and to regularly incorporate hard cardio that really gets your heart rate up into your training program.

A good overall cholesterol support supplement certainly won't hurt either. Check out N2guard from n2bm.com. N2guard contains 43 ingredients designed to detox the body and keep cholesterol levels optimal.

Keep an eye on your cholesterol levels. If it doesn't start to go down, go to your doctor and get him to write you a cholesterol medication.

It's not months - it's all the time. Or you make changes to diet and lifestyle so as to always have lower cholesterol

N2Guard is surely a great supplement for that, and it really helps. Also, in addition to the omegas, you can take flaxseed (oil or seeds) - it is a very effective natural remedy for the lowering of cholesterol levels. However, no matter the supplements you take, you also need to remove those things causing the high cholesterol issues.

Exactly. Then add in N2Guard to get the full benefits

You need to be taking at least 4 to 6 Grams a day of a Good Fish Oil, to have any Impact on Cholesterol.

Psyllium Husks are also very good for reducing Cholesterol.

Eliminate Sugar and Refined Wheat, as you body turns Wheat into Glucose (sugar)..................... JP
P.S.
In Studies ~ 10 Grams of Psyllium a day, dropped LDL by about 7%.

it isn't just about changing your diet.. this is the most misunderstood thing about cholesterol. people think if they don't eat food with cholesterol their cholesterol will go down.. it doesn't work like that necessarily. you have to exercise and you have to reduce stress in your life for overall heart health.. building a strong heart is important

What you want to consume is 6-10g fish oil, krill oil, oatmeal, psyllium husk, raw veggies. Stay away from processed foods because they are loaded with garbage and will destroy cholesterol levels. You need to be exercising too. Some people have a tougher time lowering cholesterol levels due to genetics so you might just have to work extra hard at it. It really takes an overall lifestyle change to get things where they need to be.

Other things to avoid are drinking and smoking.
