The half life of caffeine is 6 hours. Try not to consume caffeine at least 6 hours before bed time.
Ideally you would have a caffeine curfew of noon

I wouldn't have it much after 1pm if it was me. We are all different when it comes to caffeine sensitivity though.

Here is YET ANOTHER flaw in the pre-workout supp concept: if you take a pre-workout and can't [email protected] night then you're lazy in the gym (remember: texting doesn't count as training) and DON'T NEED a pre-workout.
