Letting supps sit mess with effectiveness?

I sometimes mix my protien and keep it in the car (in the shaker cup) so I can chug it immediately after my workout. Does letting it sit for the 1.5 - 2 hours I spend in the gym mess with it's effectiveness? What if I add creatine? I thought I heard somewhere that you shouldn't let creatine "sit" too long after you mix it.

That's completely fine, and you don't need to worry about it. You can also add creatine with no worries either. Personally, I would just load the powder in, and then not add water until I'm ready to chug, but to each their own.

Providing the protein is chilled it's fine. Creatine doesn't do well after about 20 minutes in solution

As long as you're not letting it sit in the heat it's fine. I premake mine the night before every day.

chugging protein powder after a workout is bro science. I once had a perma bulker meathead tell me to take protein powder "right away" after a workout. these people are too dumb to understand science and how our bodies work so they listen to the supp companies. I asked him why and he said because 'you need protein in a window'. i wonder if our ancestors after fighting battles all day or searching days for food all night ran to their camp and chugged protein powder too because they were worried about their window.

Yeah you got nothing to worry about. Just make sure you are keeping it out of heat and it will be fine to consume.
