I was given magnesium spray by my physio for free. Tells me to spray it on joints after showering. I already supplement it. Would i be over using it ????

I doubt it. It's possible but very rare among healthy people.
If you get nauseous or feel stomach irritation or anything like that cut the dosing a little bit.

putting castor oil on joints seem to help the most but that is for old people, not weight trainers who are a different species

my advice to you is to STOP LIFTING asap.. pounding away more at a joint injury will just make it worse

Magnesium is water soluble. It's impossible to over dose from it.

I'm not familiar with what product you are talking about but I would try epsom salt baths instead. They will most likely be much more effective
