Pec injuries

So a few days ago I woke up and noticed that I feel sharp pains in my left pec when doing certain things. Usually I feel alright when I wake up and am just walking around, but when I run and jump (i.e. skip a few stairs) I feel crazy pains in my left pectoral muscle.

Then after the pain subsides it's sore for the next day or two. I have no idea what could be wrong; did I maybe tear something? I've taken the past 2 days off from the gym but it does not seem to be getting better. I'm hoping that I didn't mess anything up too bad--I had surgery in december on my shoulder, so I'm really not looking for more problems.

It sounds like it possibly could be serious. I think it's not a bad idea to see your doctor about it.

What happens a lot with AAS use is that muscle and strength grows a LOT quicker than connective tissue. In strongman we've seen a lot of bicep tears more than pec tears.

I would go have it looked at.
