    Pointless?

    Does it make sense to purchase Glutamine and Leucine as a stand alone supplements when they are already in most protein powders? Aren't you just doubling up?

    Totally up to you. I personally supplement glutamine and bcaa's (contains leucine). Probably not needed, but it won't hurt.

    In a nutshell yes. They are in powders and in whole food protein sources as well

    might as well just eat a balanced diet and you will get them. supplementing is unnecessary unless you live in a 4th world country where you don't have access to much food
