    sleep help with GABA

    been searching for something to help me sleep and came across gaba supplement. i've been stressed a lot and my friend said to give it a shot. it is supposed to help relax you so you sleep better and also boosts focus. what do you think about stacking it with Ltheanine before bedtime?

    you can increase gaba 2 ways

    1. supplementing it obviously, n2sleep has plenty of gaba and other ingredients
    2. stop consuming caffeine (yes that includes coffee or get decaf)

    there is a reason you see people in the line at starbux shaking violently cause they 'need their coffee'. i've seen people go crazy. it is cause of low gaba levels

    I take it. 1,000 Mg about two hours before bed - but not every night. I'll pretty much take it only when I've had a stressful day at work/home - for me the stress is usually more work related than home related to be honest. It does seem to help put me to sleep faster and give me a better nights sleep.

    It quiets the voices...LOL

    For what it's worth - I would hesitate to take a "sleep aid" every single night no matter what it is.
