    Bros,
A lot of products contain sucralose, is this ingredient really that bad for you?

Sucralose or dextrose, citric acid and natrual/artificial flavoring is the typical mix of ingredients added to something like creatine to give it flavor. If you want to avoid those, just buy unflavored supplements and mix with a natural juice like grape or apple juice.

Im not sure about the effect on kidneys though.

    The Major Issue with Sucralose.

    It's Processed with Chlorine.
Chlorine Kills your Gut Flora........................................ JP
    P.S.
While a little from time to time may not hurt most people.
Some people will be very sensitive to it, and have Major Problems.

    Post Edit:
Chlorine is also a Known Carcinogen or Cancer Causing Agent.

Not enough Long Term Research has been done as to whether it Damages the Liver and Kidneys of Humans.
    But it does in Animals.
40% Shrinkage of the Thymus Gland.
    Atrophy of the Lymph Follicles.
Enlargement of the Kidney and Liver.
Reduced Growth Rate ~ this was all noticed in Animal Studies.

Sucralose in moderation isn't terrible but it certainly isn't good for you.

Sucralose is an artificial calorie free sweetener used to sweeten beverages and supplements without adding any additional calories. The best natural calorie free sweetener is stevia. Stevia is extracted from the stevia plant and does not have any of the side effects that sucralose does. The only downside to stevia is that it is WAY more expensive then sucralose.

The problem with sucralose is that it's in everything. Read the ingredients on any diet soda, protein powder, flavoured supplement etc - it's in there.

One of the main reasons I use wheytobuildmuscle from n2bm.com as my protein powder is because it is one of the few protein powders on the market that is sweetened with stevia instead of sucralose.

It is not like sucralose is going to kill you (obviously, when we talk about moderate amounts of it), but it is definitely not a healthy thing to put into your body, so I would try to avoid it as much. If you can't completely avoid it, and take in some of it, is ok, and will still live. It is just a matter of what is optimal or not, but not absolute like "you should not get in even a tiny bit of sucralose!"...

It will not do much to your kidneys, but of course high amounts of sucralose is always bad for ya. One of the many ways to get fat

a lot of supplements contain a lot of things. those are fillers and things put in to make it taste better

the newbsticks go after things that 'taste good'... they are too naive to know that what they put in their body is more important than taste

this is why i only use n2bm supplements. they are the best of the best

If you are using it in a ton of foods and supplements every day then I would probably cut down. If it is only here and there I would not worry too much.
