guys do you think when you train and lose weight just dieting but not taking any type of supplements like vitamins you feel weaker and sleepy all day? I have been feeling that, I run and do burpees at home every day and I'm eating less, I notice a big progress but I feel tired and sleepy all day since I started my training and dieting, thank you.

I think a multivitamin is a really good supplement to take year round.

Most of us eat pretty much the same foods every day. It's really easy to develop a nutrient deficiency when doing so. Also, when you are on a calorie restricted diet, you are eating less so you will be intaking less vitamins and minerals through your regular diet.

The biggest thing to look for when shopping for a multivitamin is what form the minerals are in. Most supplement companies use mineral oxides in their multi vitamin products because they are cheap. The problem with that is they only have a 2-4% absorption rate. Take magnesium or zinc as an example. Most multivitamins will have the forms of 'magnesium oxide and zinc oxide' listed.

What you want are amino acid chelates. You want to see 'magnesium amino acid chelate and zinc amino acid chelate'.

Check ruthless 3d from n2bm.com. It only contains amino acid chelated minerals. It also has higher dosages of B vitamins, vitamin C and vitamin E. It was formulated with the hard training athlete in mind.

Personally, I think that the major difference here is due to calorie deficit and hard training, rather than because of lack of supplements. It is completely logical that you will feel tired if you eat less than your body needs to. So supplements don't play a major role here....only if creatine, which can increase ATP and give some extra energy. But other than that, I don't feel that tired and bad if I don't use my supplements.

Taking a Multivitamin is always a good idea.
Have been taking them since the early 70's, and since then, the Need for Everyone to take one has increased.

Due to the Lack of Vitamins and Minerals in our Fruits and Vegetables......................... JP
P.S.
I've posted on this many times.
In some cases, you would need to eat 5 to 10 times the amount that you would have in the Mid-70's.
And this Brochure was printed by the USDA.
