Valerian root for sleep

Hey everyone,
I often have trouble sleeping (who knows why?) and when I need a little help I take Valerian root. It's an herb meant to calm and induce a sleepy state. It really helps with the insomnia but I was wondering if anyone knew if it had any implications for working out.
 
you need to fix your sleep or else you are screwed

google the sleep article i wrote for evo. poor sleep is an epidemic. even among our vets and members on evo which are in the upper echelon of this game, the sleep issues are a problem. if you find yourself needing a downer to sleep or an upper to stay awake then you are doing a lot wrong
 
Agree with Steve on this one bro. Sleep is sooo important, people don’t realise how underrated sleep is.
