1st Cycle Critique

Hey guys, just looking for some input on my 1st cycle. I've researched till I was blue in the face, so I hope its as comprehensive as possible. My main goal is to gain strength as I am coming up on some Olympic lifting competitions around late January.
Stats:
26 y/o
5ft7in
175lbs
8%BF
Bench: 265lbs (:()
Back Squat: 365lbs
Front Squat: 320lbs
Deadlift: 420lbs
Snatch: 240lbs
CnJ: 290lbs

Cycle:
weeks 1-5: test cyp 300mg/wk
anastrozol 0.5mg/eod
weeks 5-10: test cyp 500mg/wk
anavar 40mg/day
anastrozol 0.5mg/wk
PCT (2 weeks after last pin): Clomid + Nolvadex

Should I run some n2 on cycle as well? My biggest concern is PCT as I really want to hold onto my gains as much as possible because I'll be off cycle for a while after this due to competitions. Thank you?
 
If you already purchase your gear, no problem stick with this set up, but if you're still planning I'll give you a few suggestions.

1) Replace cypionate with enanthate, and up the dose to 400mgs/week.
2) Replace arimidex with aromasin, 10mgs EOD.
3) You should start your cycle with anavar while the testosterone is kicking in (injectables take more time than orals).
4) If you're looking for pure strength, consider adding equipose at 400mgs/week.
5) Your pct will not allow you to recover, expect loses in gains with just clomid and nolvadex, please research the "perfect pct" on evo.
 
I'll have to look into the perfect pct plan. What would be the logic behind that switch from arimidex to aromasin? I was considering the cypionate over enanthate simply for less injections/week, from what I've read they're nearly identical. Why suggest enanthate over it? Just curious. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it
 
test/var is actually a very good strength stack. but if you want to really take your strength to the next level nothing beats tren/var, but not for a first timer and not with those lifts for your size. I would consider not competing so soon, get some cycles under your belt so you can improve those lifts.

you really won't win anything competing at your weight and those lifts. you literally need to be benching 400+ and squatting 600+ to even consider it and you won't get there without getting some cycles under your belt.. i'm just being upfront with you as someone who has competed in powerlifting. I do think your lifts are pretty decent for a natty though and with your attitude you have a bright future once you start implementing AAS in your lifting

as far as your pct, you really won't keep much on a 2 SERM pct, really you will just feel like shit. run the perfect pct instead.

Aromasin is a better AI choice as it is a suicide AI and there will be no estrogen rebound when you discontinue usage.

You can interchange testosterone enanthate and cypionate. They are both long estered testosterone sources.

This is one good layout! The only thing I would add to the formula is N2Guard, since Anavar is liver toxic, so it is highly recommended to use liver protection with it.
