Just wondering. Do you warm up with 2 sets of leg extensions? Just start with 225, 230 then go straight to 320lb smith back squats? Or you warm up then do 2 working Sets 225,230?
I would warm up a bit lighter then go to heavy sets cuz that’s hard on body joints tendons even tho you’re on a great cycle with your gear you might feel so great/ ready to kill it…. still start out with real warm up to your working sets then when you get to squats I still even if 2nd exercise would do Like 1plate 2 plates 3plates … so your body core quads butt shoulders (and knee) can work up to the working sets in 400s. Just a thought. But I start with squats do I work up to my working sets. But that’s the compound exercise. Then I just go to working sets on rest of leg exercises. Just my suggestion. Just don’t wanna see you get an un needed injury. So many peep do not warm up, stretch well before they go hard. Im a firm believer In warm up. Don’t always post it but I do it. Just watching out for ya bro! 💪🌸
You are certainly correct, I have been overlooking the importance of more warm up sets, sometimes I get so excited I'm training I get right into it.

I agree with you 100% I appreciate the sound advice and helpful tips, I need to stay injury free, especially for the next two years if I plan on getting on stage and doing competition.

I will try and do better and I appreciate the perspective you have, sometimes we need others from the outside looking in, especially if I can help improve my routine and health, I am all for it.

😎 💪

Big Crossland fan and the squats look great!!
I had a feeling you might be pleased with my squat progression, I immediately thought of you and went this is mobster approved 😎

Crossland is one amazing man and I follow alot of his advice and pay close attention when he talks about cycles, peds, and just overall health stuff, he does amazing work.

Well said, pyramiding up on squats I think is a must helps your nervous system fire up as well.
Yeah I guess sometimes I get excited for training or think in my head, if I exhaust my muscles more than I should before I attempt heavier lifts, I might miss the lift.

@ugfreak

Last leg day I remember saying I had more weight in me I could have definitely pushed harder than I did, after testing the waters and feeling confident I went for it on this leg day.

I think everyone will be pleased when they see the numbers I put up, I shocked myself this workout.

I remember Dave Crossland saying " don't set limitations, find them" I feel I was limiting myself because I was afraid even with my knee feeling better. I can't live in fear, I just had to go for it.

Enjoy the update everyone!

Damn bro! Those are some strong legs. I’ll never post my leg day again.

Yes assisted, I am happy about my numbers, part of me feels it doesn't count like it would if I was in a squat rack and not a smith machine.
Oh, yeah those don’t count. I feel better now. 🤣 just playing bro
